The food is very good and a good value, although the consistency in the spices is very variable.
It would get a 4 stars, but it lost two after two incidents related to their service.
The first time when we complained about the lack of spices in their "Hot" General Zho's chicken, we were told that we don't know what we are talking about, they make it mild all the time.... only to be followed by the hotest meal I had in a while the next time I went.
The last time I visited was however too much for me. We always pay at the table (many dozen times over a 2 years period). This time the owner decided to point the finger at the counter and yell at us to go pay there.
When I complained and told him I was not coming back, the owner was very rude and said that whether he is rude or not is my opinion, and that I could leave the restaurant
Good value for lunch if you don't mind being treated badly.

Chef Chan's take-out is wonderful. The service is very fast, food ready when you get to the restaurant
. My family gets Chef Chan at least once a week. We have tried the majority of the menu and have never had a complaint.
