1 Year In The Shelter
On January 15th marked ONE YEAR since Baby walked into the shelter.
Fortunately, she was able to celebrate turning one year older in the comfort of her foster home with her furry foster siblings.
Baby has two New Years resolutions.
The first is to become fabulously fit.
The second is to find her furever family.
As you can see, she is well on her way to accomplishing her first resolution.
See her shelter picture by clicking on the link below and the one below was taken a few days ago.
Will you help make her second resolution a reality?
From her foster family:
"I have been fostering Baby since early November.
She is a 45lb, 9-10 year old Shepherd mix.
She is HW-.
She is a curious girl who likes to take leisurely walks around the neighborhood.
She gets so excited and vocal when I grab the leash and say, “walk”.
She walks well on a leash, but does pull when she sees squirrels.
She gets along well with my two, much smaller dogs, and has also done well with other dogs around the neighborhood.
Her perfect home would be with someone who is home most of the time, someone who works from home would be ideal.
She prefers to be close to her humans and loves pets and cuddles.
She does well with my two teenage daughters, but probably would not do well with younger children as she becomes nervous with loud noises and sudden movements and tends to become vocal.
She is house trained (uses doggy door to go out/in) and is crate trained.
She is the perfect companion for snuggling on the couch watching TV.
Please reach out if you would like to set up a meet and greet.
This gal deserves a loving family and has lots of life to live!"
