South MoCo Fire Department Selected To Participate In Pilot Program

Forum Image

In conjunction with the National Fire Protection Association, Battalion Chief Matthew Adelman and his Community Risk Reduction team were one of only 250 Fire departments in the United States selected to participate in a Community Risk Assessment pilot project.

The project employs a Community Risk Assessment identifying the unique risks in a community and assess how to mitigate those risks from within that very same community.

Based on NFPA 1300's Community Risk Reduction model, dashboards will display risk areas using maps, graphs, and other visuals powered by mySidewalk ©, an innovative community intelligence platform designed to aide in plan development.

Also congratulations to the northern neighbors Needham Fire & Rescue/ Montgomery County ESD#4 on their selection as well.
