Tips For Driving In The Rain

With Texas weather ever changing, here are some safety tips for driving in the rain:

*Turn on your headlights

*Lookout for pedestrians

*3 seconds distance rule

*Do not follow trucks or buses too closely

*Avoid sudden motion

*Avoid heavy rain

*Drive slowly

It's always better to drive slower during the rain and get there a little later than to drive fast and not get there at all.

I wish everyone drove like you do, think your an excellent driver... some people seem to drive even faster when it rains.. when I see an accident on the road it upsets me for days, I search to find were they ok did they survive... if people had feelings they would be more careful of others.

@Starlight13 : Some people like to drive the edge of their tires on large puddles of water and watch it spray 10 feet wide. That would be me, I always fancied splashing someone from head to toe like that...here's your free shower🚿. 😅😄

@DEEDEE8 : I'm sorry, but I can't help myself. I just love that light headed feeling when the car 🚗 hydroplanes on a thin film of water as in a puddle and seeing that huge jet spray out! 😄😅

If you enjoy hydroplaning make sure you have good car insurance and not near any when you do it.
