Outback Trust Fund for Imelda
During Imelda, many of our Texas counterparts received damages with which they are still dealing. Our area was very fortunate and basically went unscathed, but some of the employees of area companies were not so lucky.
Our Shenandoah Outback had a couple of employees who had flooded homes that they were able to help. But now they are taking on a bigger challenge and you can help.
On Tuesday, October 22, the Shenandoah Outback is hosting an event to raise money toward the Outback Trust Fund, a program that was created to help provide support for Outbackers dealing with unexpected expenses. They are hoping that this event will provide a chance to really give back, especially to the Beaumont Outback family which is out of work for the next of couple months due to Imelda flooding. Shenandoah staff is volunteering their time and donating all tips that day to the trust fund and will also be selling Outback merchandise to raise money.
Mark your calendar and think about lunch or supper at Outback on October 22. You will get a great meal and help our neighbors to the east who are still dealing with the impact of Imelda. For more information, contact Outback at (936) 321-9106.
