True Food Kitchen, the award-winning healthful, seasonal restaurant and scratch bar, has officially opened the doors to its new restaurant at Market Street in The Woodlands.

Co-founded by integrative medicine expert Dr. Andrew Weil, True Food Kitchen is a health-driven, seasonal restaurant rooted in a belief that you shouldn't have to sacrifice delicious food to live a healthy lifestyle. The restaurant caters to palates and preferences of all kinds with a variety of gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan offerings for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. The regularly rotating menu also celebrates the vibrancy of healthful entrées, salads, fruit and vegetable starters and desserts packed with wholesome, seasonal ingredients. The scratch bar features a seasonal collection of handcrafted cocktails made from freshly pressed juice and organic spirits as well as a selection of beer and wine.
True Food Kitchen's location in The Woodlands features approximately 7,300 square feet of indoor and outdoor dining space, including a lively dining room with nearly 170 seats and an open kitchen designed to bring guests closer to the restaurant's culinary craft. The restaurant features an indoor-outdoor bar with a large covered, three-season patio with enough seating for 100 guests. Indoors, vibrant and locally-inspired artwork add a contemporary touch to the earthy color scheme, natural elements and greenery, including indoor / outdoor garden basins filled with fresh herbs and spices. Eco-friendly materials are utilized throughout the restaurant, such as the hardwood floors, and dining chairs made of recycled soda bottles.
True Food Kitchen will offer a daily Happy Hour in the bar and on the patios Monday through Friday, 3:00pm to 6:00pm, featuring seasonal cocktails, small bites and select wine and beer for $5. The restaurant also offers half priced wine by the bottles of wine all day on Mondays.
True Food Kitchen is located at the main entrance of Market Street at 9595 Six Pines Drive, Suite 150. It's open seven days a week, and the hours of operations are: Monday - Thursday 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Friday 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Brunch is available Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Happy Hour is offered for guests dining in Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
It's not vegan at all,they have meat and fish....it's just better quality than most places...Dr Weil is a pescatarian and one of the best experts of intergrative medicine in the USA...it certainly was founded by him,I went to his first in the Beautiful state of California lol!..he's certainly not as radical as me,be glad I was not opening it ,it would be out of business in a day here...the True Food in Houston has been there a long time and is successful..The Wheel Kitchen which is a home grown healthy restaurant is doing fantastic, went this morning..now please be nice to me (tic)
Thank you,your really sweet 😇. I will proberbly only go in the morning to avoid crowds so my choice will be limited...I noticed when I have passed by it's looked to busy for me at other times. Will report back..
