A 31-year-old man from The Woodlands has been arrested for burglarizing a garage and trying to sell the stolen property at a nearby Walmart.
According to reports from the
Harris County PCT 4 Constable's Office, on Saturday, December 2, 2017, a deputy responded to the 21000 block of Vista Trail Court in north Harris County in reference to a burglary of a habitation.
Upon arriving, the complainant reported that an unknown suspect entered the attached garage to the residence and stole several items. Precinct 4 Deputies were able to track one of the items, a stolen cell phone, to a nearby Walmart. There, they located the suspect, Victor Villarreal (31, The Woodlands), trying to sell the stolen property. Constable Deputies were able to recover and return all of the stolen items back to the complainant.
“Victor Villarreal was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail and charged with Burglary of a Habitation. His bond is set at $50,000.00 out of the 232nd District Court.” – Constable Mark Herman
Villarreal has an extensive criminal history, including charges of Aggravated Robbery, Theft, Evading Arrest, Trespassing and multiple arrests for Burglary.
