Since opening in 2014, The Republic Grille has experienced long wait times at its Panther Creek location, credited to owner Terry McBurney’s choices of menu, décor and service. With McBurney opening a second location that recently celebrated its grand opening, patrons in the West Woodlands and Magnolia area can stay closer to home and enjoy the restaurant’s award-winning cuisine. Located at the corner of Woodlands Parkway and FM2978, The Republic Grille is surely filling a dining void in the West Woodlands area.
“We enjoyed a phenomenal response when we opened our original location,” said McBurney. “With such limited options on the west side of The Woodlands, the need for another The Republic Grille was obvious. It was simply a matter of finding the right location”.
McBurney opted to open the second location because of clamoring customer demand, and he settled on the West Woodlands location to serve discriminating diners in Sterling Ridge, Alden Bridge, Lake Windcrest and Woodforest, as well as patrons from Conroe and Tomball. “With such expansive growth of the West Woodlands and Magnolia areas in recent years, there was a tremendous void for higher end dining options. We are excited to help fill that void,” he said.
Fans of the original location located at 4775 W. Panther Creek won’t be disappointed at the décor of the new location. McBurney stuck with what was tried and true, as the interior is filled with historical photos, framed artwork and memorabilia from Montgomery County’s rich history.
“But we also built on our original concept and improved in areas to better serve our customers,” said McBurney. Changes include a bigger dining room and an expansive bar area. “You will, however, enjoy the same great cuisine and service at both locations; something our customers have come to expect and enjoy,” added McBurney.
