Houston Repertoire Presents: Riviera Holiday!

Save the date and join Tomball Library as Houston Repertoire presents: Riviera Holiday!
Library books aren't the only way to tell a story: dance can tell a story too!
The Riviera Holiday is a jazz-age comedy ballet performed at the LSC-Tomball Community Library!
This ballet is a playful romp that takes place at a 1920's French Riviera resort.
Bathing Beauties in 20's-era swim caps, Flappers in fringe, sassy Tennis Players and Golfers, a very officious Maître D’ and a handsome College Man all meet up in this comic vacation!
Riviera Holiday takes its inspiration from the 1924 ballet Le Train Bleu, which was originally created for the famous Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo by Bronislava Nijinska, one of the world's first female ballet choreographers.
Kristy Nilsson, the Resident Choreographer for Houston Repertoire Ballet, has adapted the nearly century-old ballet to create a delightful Jazz-Age Vacation, Filled with Fun, Sun and Romance!
Ms. Nilsson will narrate this comedic ballet for a children's audience in an informal setting perfect for all ages!
Registration is required.
