Amazing how many restaurants have closed. Quite a few are in The Woodlands. Our family enjoyed many special meals at Brio, especially my mom's 80th birthday. Hopefully, some of these restaurants can regroup and reopen when things become more normal.

I only noticed the Blue Fish in the Woodlands closed. We have been dinning out since last Mother's day and we were the only group sitting inside the Blue Fish that day...

@WoodlandsSparky : Nope, sweet tomatoes closed soon after pandemic. I think it was around March or April. The whole company/chain declared bankruptcy and closed all their stores.

Then sweet tomatoes' closing has nothing to do COVID. Maybe people are healthier now so they don't go there anymore. Emoticon

They declared bankruptcy bc salad bars and buffet restaurants couldn't make a go during the pandemic.

I only went there a couple of times (because of lady friends). What I noticed is only overweight people go there, maybe to make themselves feel better. Emoticon
So they had bad business model (try to benefit from people's suffering).

Speaking of buffets, Hartz Chicken on I-45 is open and they are promoting their buffet. The wife misses her Happy Family Buffet on FM1960, she loves the all you can eat crab legs.

@FairManor : Definitely easy to overeat there, but the salads and the soups were really good.

Any restaurants that specialize in salads? Not buffet style though, I do not like buffets.

I need to lose 10 lbs. that I lost and gained back. Of course when I lost weight.... the one day I gained some back is the day I ate salad lol. Not a buffet but just one huge salad.
