I don't know about everyone else....but this whole Corona thing with the world shutting down is starting to creep me out. It is such a weird feeling. Even though much of it does not affect me personally, it feels very strange.

Does anyone have advice on doctor's visits, like bloodwork? Postpone? Also what about eating out?

I have appointments to take my cats to the vet next Monday and they assured me no problem there.

@DEEDEE8 :

I thought today this isn't so bad,...a nuclear bomb dropping would be much worse,we could be in a war torn country like Syria,bless them...we are still a pampered nation being taken care off......we are listening to it to much....it's invading our every thought right now.....If we had no social media I am sure we would feel much better....I am going to look at some superficial stuff on you tube and jump on my trampoline 😊

@Starlight13 : Yes, but there is protocol everywhere now and it seems very limiting.

@DEEDEE8 :

I guess it's not limiting to me because I am always home... if I was in England I would have more places I like to go so it would feel limiting there..
It is a creepy feeling I have to agree with you.
It's good to shut things down, it will improve faster and hopefully more lives will not be lost.

@Starlight13 : Yes I am always home too pretty much, except for work all day. But we do get out more on the weekends, so that will be weird.

Hopefully no one else will die with all the awareness now, and hoping things go back to normal soon.

@DEEDEE8 : I know most places like doctor's offices are limiting who comes in and out. My husband's doctor's offce is saying if you have an appointment then the patient can come in, no one else. i've seen signs on other doors that said if you have any symptoms to call before coming. best rule of thumb would be to call before you go. as far as restuarants and other places, i'd call ahead and see what their protocol is. my family is limiting their interaction with the public but not being so "quarantined" that we go crazy. still cautious but still reasonable.

@iamgr8 : Yes I will call and the bloodwork is not until April, but my cats vet visits are next Monday. They said no protocol there and everything is fine.

Hope your dog is doing better and the kittens and momma and daddy are still good. I guess the kittens are almost one year old by now. WOW.

@DEEDEE8 : it is definitely better to be safe than sorry. everyone and everything is doing well. kittens are getting big and so stinking cute. if i can ever get a picture of them i will post. princess has become a very pretty orange and brown tabby with the coolest green eyes; in my opinion she's stunning Emoticon the others are just as pretty and crazy as her. my baby cat has his dad's crazy personality and will follow you and chase you if you let him. he's ended up with a goatee ...super cute. they'll all be a year old in june, so 3 more months. crazy how much time has flown! my doggie is doing ok...he has his good and bad days but he's still just as spoiled rotten as when we first got him Emoticon thank you for asking! hope your kitties vet appointments go well.

@iamgr8 : Glad to hear they are all doing well. Emoticon They are adorable!!! Time does go fast.

I understand about good and bad days, my girl too. Thanks for the well wishes. She is just going in for BP check this time. Last time her numbers were good, they had actually improved alot, we changed food and meds. Some days she eats better than others, etc. She is a tough cookie for almost 18 years. Got to take my neighbor's cat that I inherited later that day. He is a crazyyyyy and hyper boy. He needs his vaccines and exam. That is going to be interesting to say the least. I am dreading it.
