Years ago we were told that there was going to be one in The Woodlands! Since then at least 6 burger places have come and gone! I still miss Culver's.

@RedPanda : We do Tony's about once a month. We do the caprice he salad and I love the dean Martin. My husband gets the beef melt. If you think about it most all of the meat and cheeses are the highest quality. We don't get anything with lots of oil. The other thing is we don't need a full sandwich in one sitting. Love the place. As for In-N-Out Burger, we loved it when we lived in California and the kids were young. Their burgers were great. I haven't had one in about five years so I can't recommend anything specific right now. I do look forward to when they open in the Woodlands.

@djohn78 : They closed the one in the Woodlands because of the higher rents. At least that's what I heard. They were wonderful, the owner was great, and the food was good. I still visit the one in Conroe on 336.

@texbuck : I know I hated to see them close the culvers. It's the same with many other restaurants though. The rents get too high and everybody looks for the new guys. I certainly like trying to keep the local people open. That's why it's important to frequent places like blue door café, Jax burger, palottas, and so many other great local places.

@cabeuser : I am glad the greedy idiot is losing his rear end as the building has been empty well over a year and I hope it stays empty for a few more years. Joe the Culver's owner is getting plenty of last laughs!

They closed in May of 2018 so it's been empty for 18 months which is good news!

@texbuck : Oh ok. That's a few months after I moved to CA. I haven't been back in that area much since retuning.

I am not a big burger person except the ones my husband makes....do they have chicken sandwiches? Trying to eat better right now but I may make a splurge lol.
