@DEEDEE8 : Yikes. First, since you don't watch your cat outside, they will catch more than what you see. Should be common sense. Do research on why cats aren't good rodent control. Secondly, since animal was in your cat's mouth, animal more likely died even if you released back outside. Most animals that come into wildlife centers that were caught by cats, do end up dying in one or two days from infection, injuries that aren't visible, or capture myopathy. Third, you do realize you make yourself a very irresponsible pet owner by your comment?
@sa1111 : The mole was fine. We were scared of each other in my closet for awhile when I tried to get him in a box. He was fast and just fine. I am the one that almost had a heart attack.
There are more people killing rodents than cats, trust me. Plus people killing birds by not cleaning their bird feeders and fountains well, they are dying from the bacteria. I am sure you have read that if you have any interest in birds.
