Monitored, analyzed, and reported the financial performance (actual vs. budget) of high profile projects, for top-tier customers in the oil and gas industry such as ExxonMobil and Saudi Aramco. Responsibilities included:

• Responsible for cost control of over $1 billion (25%) of project budget
• Development and use of complex project work breakdown structures (WBS) on multi-phased projects with numerous delivery and fabrication centers located across the globe
• Initial set-up of, and updates to, equipment and materials cost data, including establishing baselines, tracking of commitments and expenditures against purchase order values, variation control of purchase order changes, incurred costs, and invoiced costs, in capital cost management system (PREDICTION+)
• Identification of potential impacts to the material forecast, management of allowances and presentation of key risks and recovery plans to project management and stakeholders, particularly in support of the Procurement Director as Cost Steward (budget owner) through identification of both opportunities and vulnerabilities to the cost forecast and supporting the presentation of monthly reports at Cost Stewardship meetings
• Planning and scheduling of procurement milestone completion dates by PO through interface with procurement team members on recognition of milestone achievement and reporting through WIP expenditure profiles
• Validation and coding of vendor invoice claims and sending cash flow projections to finance based on revenue recog
