Essential Functions • Clean vacant lots • Respond to resident service requests when applicable • Maintain the storage area in a safe and organized manner • Maintain tools, the maintenance facility, and equipment • Coordinate new home delivery and set-up • Order supplies, tools and equipment (with Management approval) • Maintain all utility facilities within the Community • Follow safety precautions • Complete all work in a timely manner • Maintain professional behavior• Maintain community assets including grounds (including daily trash pick-up) , buildings, equipment, playgrounds etc. • Respond to emergency calls as directed by Supervisor • Routine maintenance of rental units and assisting in refurbishing of make-ready homes, including painting, cleaning, light carpentry / plumbing / electrical work / trash-outs •Basic landscape maintenance. Basic to intermediate plumbing and electrical repairs. Machine and small engine maintenance. Working with underground utilities such as sewer and water lines. • Assist in coverage of the after-hours maintenance emergency line •Maintain and keep working areas clean and organized. Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor and subject to change.
1-2 years of experience in the maintenance industry, preferably property management maintenance experience -Ability to be very active - walking, bending, standing and lifting up to 50 pounds • Need to be comfortable with working outside in all weather conditions including extreme heat • Ability to complete general maintenance and repair work as needed • Basic computer skills, i.e. email and internet. • Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle (drive to different locations on the property) with a valid driver's license • Salary: $16-$18.00 DOE We ask for you to be a self starter and go above and beyond your daily job duties.
