We are a fast growing durable medical equipment company located in Montgomery, TX, and are expanding again due to explosive growth. Our Verification Specialist job duties include, but are not limited to online and phone-based patient Insurance Verification checks.
We are looking for 2 full-time employees at our Lake Conroe insurance office.
Insurance eligibility and verification knowledge and experience is REQUIRED. Knowledge of insurance carriers and an understanding of the different products (HMO, PPO, POS, EPO, etc) is REQUIRED. Medical billing/coding (ICD-9, ICD-10) and medical terminology knowledge is REQUIRED. Experience with Medi-Soft software is REQUIRED.
Must demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, work consistently, and show up on-time. No job hoppers.

Skills Required:
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
� Experience with Medi-soft medical software
� Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
� Experience with calling insurance companies to verify insurance benefits
� Experience working with web-based clearinghouse software
� Excellent verbal and written communication skills
� Knowledge of medical terminology and ICD-10 codes
� Must have at least 2 years of medical office experience - NO INTERNS or intern-based experience.
