We are a fast growing durable medical equipment company located in Montgomery, TX, and are expanding again due to explosive growth. Our verification and collections specialist job duties include, but are not limited to: Insurance Verification (both phone-based and online), Claims Resolution, Appeals, and Collections.
We are looking for 2 full-time employees at our Lake Conroe insurance office.
Insurance eligibility and verification knowledge and experience is REQUIRED. Knowledge of insurance carriers and an understanding of the different products (HMO, PPO, POS, EPO, etc) is REQUIRED. Medical billing/coding (ICD-9, ICD-10) and medical terminology knowledge is REQUIRED. Experience with Medi-Soft software is REQUIRED. Experience with collections and resolving denials on insurance claims is REQUIRED.
Must demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, work consistently, and show up on-time. No job hoppers.

� Experience with Medi-soft and Microsoft Office applications
� Experience with calling on insurance benefits
� Experience with collections, resolving insurance denials, and appeal process protocols
� Excellent verbal and written communication skills
� Knowledge of medical terminology and ICD-9/ICD-10 codes
� Must have worked IN OFFICE for at least 2 years - NO INTERNS or intern-based experience.
