Job Description:
PR Marketing & Publishing, LLC, creators of reviewit Magazine, VIDA SOCIAL & Flair Magazine, is currently seeking an experienced and focused Graphic Designer to support and assist reviewit Magazine�s Publication's Production Department in both prepress and post press operations. reviewit Magazine is a POWERFULLY COHESIVE FAMILY OF LUXURY LIFESTYLE MAGAZINE in The Woodlands, TX. www.reviewitmagazine.com.
Major Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
� Exceptional Customer Service
� Input advertising insertion orders into a proprietary ad management database.
� Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts.
� Determine size & arrangement of illustrative material & select style & size of type
� Work with the Advertising Production Coordinator, Managing Editor and Graphic Artists to process and preflight digital ad material or design. This will involve much attention to detail, ensuring that the ad material sent to us matches the insertion order and all requirements in the insertion order are met.
�Develop graphics & layouts for product illustrations, company logos & web designs.
� Will work with the Advertising Production Coordinator to ensure that the tear sheets and copies of the magazines that are sent to advertisers are of the best quality possible.
� Reviews pages for page geometry and consistency which involves becoming very familiar with the layout and design of publication and reviewing the proofs for consistency relative to image placement, bleeds, etc.
� Monthly transfer and backup of digital advertising material.

Required Skills
� 2-5 years of related experience, equipping the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.
� Highly proficient in Microsoft Office. Experienced with of Adobe Creative Suite, PDF creation. Any background with ad management or InDesign and Adobe Photoshop would be helpful.
� Basic magazine production and design experience preferred
� Ideal candidate will have a keen sense for detail, good mathematical skills, and the ability and willingness to handle several jobs concurrently.
� Excellent communication and writing skills. � Possess strong organizational skills, detail oriented, ability to work in pressure atmosphere, good problem solving techniques punctual, dedicated & team player, desire to learn & grow within department/company
