How We Got Started

      I spent years making coffee and now I make jewelry, but spreading light and love has always remained at the center of it all. All of the early mornings out at DeNovo Coffee in Old Town Tomball brought some incredible people into my life and I was able to form so many special friendships and relationships during that time. One frequent customer, now my fiance, Robert Cegielski, invited me out to his custom furniture shop, Broken Tree Designs. I was able to get a behind-the-scenes look and learn some artisan skills and trades of my own. I wanted to find another use for the materials we were using and decided that due to my excessive earring collection, that making jewelry was the best way to channel my creative outlet and become a maker myself. With the encouragement and support from Robert, my family, friends, and largely, the strength and courage from God, I was able to close one chapter of my life and walk boldly into the next to follow where the Lord was leading me during this season.

    Starting this company has given me the opportunity to challenge myself, to try new things, and to grow. I’ve always been a big believer in, “if you do what you love, you love what you do.” So, find what you're passionate about and just be sure you do it with love.
