History of the formation of The Woodlands Township:
On December 7, 2006 the City of Houston and The Woodlands announced a historic agreement allowing The Woodlands to determine their future as they contribute toward important regional projects.
November 2007 Election passed three important propositions authorizing the expansion of the former Town Center Improvement District (TCID) to cover The Woodlands. At this point the TCID changed it's name to The Woodlands Township.
In September 2009 The Woodlands Township Board adopted a budget and set a property tax levy for The Woodlands, replacing the Community Association assessments. ( Transition 2010 Flyer )
I was just wondering if we have engineers or other professionals overseeing the road construction and traffic planning?
I must say their recent decision to allow the future water improvement work along Research an Grogins Mill at this particular time of the year would make me think they need drug testing.
I am not a fan of purchasing off the net but this might be the year. I\'m sure all the township merchants are lovely these restrictions right at Christmas shopping season.
