credit report once every 12 months from each of the three nationwide consumer
reporting companies – Equifax, Experian and TransUnion.
This credit report can be requested online through:

Paid Options / Semi-Free:
In addition, several online services, such as
FreeCreditReport.com,
offer a free credit report when you sign up for their Credit Monitoring Service (a paid service).
Please note that these types of credit reports are only "free" if you sign up for their paid service.
