The Woodlands Police Blotter for 09/15/2011:
District 2:
On September 2nd, Deputy McKee was dispatched to Desota Road, in reference to a
family violence in progress. Upon Deputy McKee’s arrival, an investigation was made at the location. Upon the completion of the investigation, a
22 year old male from
Magnolia was
arrested and charged with
Assault,
Family Violence. The
arrested was transported to jail without incident.
On September 4th, Deputy Knight was dispatched to a residence on Sawdust Road, in reference to a
family violence. A
28 year old male from Montgomery was
arrested and charged with
Assault,
Family Violence. Another subject involved in the
disturbance was discovered to have an active
warrant. A
21 year old female, from Montgomery was
arrested for the active
warrant. Both
arrested subjects were transported to jail without incident.
On September 4th, Deputy Knight was dispatched to the area of the 29000 block of Atherstone, where a complainant came home while two males were burglarizing his residence. Two actors were identified and found in the area. Two
juvenile males, one a
15 years old and one a
14 years old, both from
Spring, were
arrested and charged with
Burglary of a Habitation. Both
juveniles were transported to county
juvenile without incident.
On September 5th, Deputy Fruge was dispatched to the area of the 15000 block of Esther Drive, where reportedly two males were just recently witnessed burglarizing a residence. One
18 year old male from
Conroe, and a
15 year old male
juvenile from
Conroe, were
arrested and charged with
Burglary of a Habitation. The adult male was transported to jail, and the
juvenile male was transported to county
juvenile, both without incident.
On September 7th, Deputy Wakefield was dispatched to the 400 Block of Rayford Road, in reference to a prescription
fraud. Upon Deputy Wakefield’s arrival, an investigation was made. Upon the completion of the investigation, a
32 year old female from
Spring was
arrested and charged with several counts of
Fraud. The
arrested was transported to jail without incident.
On September 7th, Deputy Wakefield was dispatched to the 26000 block of Interstate 45, in reference to a
Criminal Mischief. Reportedly, a complainant heard the sound of shattering glass in the area of his parked vehicle. Upon going outside to investigate, he witnessed several males leaving the parking lot in a motor vehicle, in a hurried manner, next to where his vehicle was parked. He discovered his vehicles window had been shattered out. The complainant was able to give a description of the
fleeing vehicle. A local police department was able to stop the vehicle on traffic. Upon the completion of Deputy Wakefield’s investigation, it was discovered that not only did the reported actors vandalize the complainant’s car, but were in
possession of property that they had just
stolen in several other car burglaries, in the same area. Two
18 year old males from
Conroe, and a
17 year old male from
Conroe were
arrested and charged with
Criminal Mischief and Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity. All three males were transported to jail without incident.
On September 9th, Deputy Ward was dispatched to Woodglen Drive, in reference to a
family violence in progress. Upon Deputy Ward’s arrival, an investigation was made at the location. Upon the completion of the investigation, one
50 year old female, from
Spring was
arrested and charged with
Assault,
Family Violence. The
arrested was transported to jail without incident.
On September 10th, Deputy Fruge was dispatched to Carlisle Drive, in reference to a
Robbery. Reportedly a complainant was walking his dog when he was approached by two males he knew. The complainant advised that the actors approached him in an
aggressive manner and he tried to get away and while
hiding in a neighbor’s back yard called for help. Upon Deputy Fruge’s arrival a search of the area was conducted. Both actors were found. Both actors, one a
20 year old male, and one a
17 year old male, both from
Conroe, were
arrested and charged with Aggravated
Robbery.
On September 11th, Deputy McKee was dispatched to the 25000 block of Interstate 45, in reference to a
disturbance in progress. Reportedly a male and female were arguing in a parking lot. Upon the completion of the investigation, it was discovered a male at the location was highly
intoxicated. A
49 year old male was
arrested and charged with
public intoxication.
District 6:
On September 5, 2011, Deputy Prince
arrested a
35-year-old male, from
Houston, after a
traffic stop on Waterway and Timberloch. During the course of the
traffic stop, Deputy Prince found the suspect to be
intoxicated and subsequently
arrested him for
Driving While Intoxicated and Driving While
License Suspended.
On September 6, 2011, Deputy Houstoun was dispatched to a
Shoplifter in Custody call at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspect,
22-year-old female from
Houston, attempted to take $101.99 worth of
merchandise from Sear’s Department store. The suspect was taken into custody for
Theft and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On September 6, 2011, Deputy Prince conducted a
traffic stop on SH 242. During the course of the
traffic stop, the driver,
44 year old male from Willis, was found to be
intoxicated and was then taken into custody for
Driving While Intoxicated and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On September 7, 2011, Deputy Johnson responded to a
Shoplifter in Custody call at 3040 College Park Drive. The suspects, a
42-year-old female and an
18-year-old female, both from
Cleveland, attempted to take $278.00 worth of
merchandise from Wal-Mart. The suspects were taken into custody for
Theft and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On September 8, 2011 at approximately 1640 hours, Deputy K. Christensen and Sgt. West were dispatched to an Indecent Exposure in progress in the parking lot of the Randall’s Grocery Store located in the Panther Creek Shopping Center. The suspect, a
42-year-old male from California, was located and a
traffic stop was conducted. The suspect was subsequently
arrested for Indecent Exposure.
On September 10, 2011, Deputy Runnels
arrested a
33-year-old male from
Spring, after a
traffic stop on Kuykendahl Road. The suspect was found to have a
suspended license and was taken into custody for
Driving While License Invalid.
On September 10, 2011, Deputy Borchardt was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident located at Woodlands Parkway and Kuykendahl where a motorist struck a red light camera and was still on location. Deputy Borchardt arrived and made contact with the driver, a
21-year-old male from
Magnolia. The driver was believed to be
intoxicated and after an investigation was conducted, he was subsequently
arrested for
Driving While Intoxicated. Precinct 3 Commissioner\'s Office was contacted in reference to the damages caused to the red light camera and pole. A Precinct 3 Commissioner\'s Office representative arrived and estimated the damages at about $10,000.
On September 10, 2011, Deputy Rizk was dispatched to a
Disturbance In Progress call at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspect,
34-year-old male from Fort Worth, attempted to take $800.00 worth of
merchandise from the Apple Store. The suspect was taken into custody and charged with
Theft.
On September 11, 2011, Deputy Drake observed a
suspicious vehicle in the parking lot at 3800 S. Panther Creek Drive. Deputy Drake made contact with the occupants and found the driver to be in
possession of 1 gram of
marijuana. The driver, a
20-year-old male from
Spring, was charged with
Possession of
Marijuana in a
Drug Free Zone and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On September 12, 2011, Deputy Runnels conducted a
traffic stop on a vehicle for no rear lights. Deputy Runnels then made contact with the driver who was identified as a
29-year-old male from
Spring. During the course of the
traffic stop, Deputy Runnels obtained consent to search the vehicle. During the search, several syringe caps and zip lock baggies were found in the passenger area of the car. While searching the car the suspect advised Deputy Runnels that there was a level 2 bulletproof vest in the trunk. Deputy Runnels retrieved the bulletproof vest from the trunk. A Criminal History Background Check was performed on the suspect, and it was found that he was a previously convicted felon. The District Attorney’s Office was contacted and accepted charges of Unlawful
Possession of Body Armor by Felon (F3).
