The Woodlands Police Blotter for 08/31/2011:
District 2:
On August 20th Deputy Ward was dispatched to the 25000 blk. of IH45 on a
disturbance call. Upon further investigation it was determined a 28 yoa male from
Spring was involved in a
disturbance inside the business. The male was unsteady on his feet and had
slurred speech as well as smelled of an
alcoholic beverage. The male was taken into custody for
Public IntoxicationOn August 21st Sergeant Barber was travelling east on Rayford Road near Lazy Lane and observed a passenger car
swerving badly into other lanes of travel. The deputy stopped the vehicle and the driver had a strong odor of an
alcoholic beverage. A field
sobriety test was conducted and it was determined the driver was
intoxicated. The driver, a 47 yoa female from
Spring, was
arrested for
Driving While Intoxicated.
On August 21st Sergeant Barber was dispatched to a traffic
collision on S.H. 242 near Lexington Drive. Upon his investigation, it was learned that one driver had an outstanding
felony warrant. After the driver was treated at a local
hospital, the 28 yoa male from
Spring, was
arrested for the
warrant.
On August 22nd Deputy Koonce was dispatched to the Wal-Mart at 1025 Sawdust Road for a
shoplifter. During the investigation, it was determined that a 50 yoa male from
Spring, had concealed
merchandise and exited the store without attempting to pay for it. Total of
merchandise was valued at $233 dollars. The male was
arrested for
theft.
On August 24th Deputy Zavorski was dispatched to an address on Geneva Hills Lane on a
Family Violence call. During the investigation, the victim stated the actor placed his hand around her neck. The victim was able to break free and dial
911. The actor was located attempting to leave the area and was
arrested for
Assault Family Violence.
On August 24th Deputy Ward conducted a
traffic stop in the 2100 blk. of Rayford Road. Deputy Ward observed the driver toss a clear plastic baggie out of the vehicles driver side window before coming to a stop. The driver was detained as the baggie was located and was found to contain several
pills listed as controlled substances. The driver, a 25 yoa male from
Spring, was
arrested for
possession of a
controlled substance.
On August 25th Dep. Knight was in the 1000 blk. of Rayford Road when he observed a male standing near a vehicle. The male was observed to be in a confused state and upon closer contact a strong odor of an
alcoholic beverage was smelled on his breath along with
slurred speech and
bloodshot eyes. The 50 yoa male from
The Woodlands, was
arrested for
Public Intoxication.
On August 27th Deputy Reuvers was dispatched to Park Ave. on a
Family Violence. Upon further investigation, it was learned that a physical altercation had occurred. A 22 yoa female from
Conroe was
arrested for
Assault Family Violence.
District 6:
On August 23, 2011, Deputy Eisenmenger and Deputy Herman
arrested a
22-year-old female from
Conroe after a
traffic stop on Glen Loch and Tanglebrush. During the course of the
traffic stop investigation, it was found that the driver was
intoxicated. The suspect was taken to the Montgomery County Jail and charged with
Driving While Intoxicated.
On August 23, 2011, Deputy Rodriguez responded to a
Shoplifter in Custody call at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspects, a
22-year-old male from
Houston and
20-year-old female from Porter were
arrested after they attempted to take $52.96 worth of
merchandise from Sears Department Store. Both were transported to the Montgomery County Jail and charged with
Theft.
On August 23, 2011, Deputy Hammons was dispatched to a Motor Vehicle Accident at Woodlands Parkway and Grogans Mill. During the course of the investigation, the driver of the vehicle causing the accident was found to be
intoxicated. The suspect, a
47-year-old male from
The Woodlands, was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail, charged with
Driving While Intoxicated.
On August 23, 2011, Deputy Drake was dispatched to a residence on Holly creek Ct. in reference to a Narcotics Offense. During the course of the investigation, .1693 ounces of
marijuana were located. The suspects, a
21-year-old female and a
20-year-old female both from
the Woodlands, were
arrested for
Possession of
Marijuana. The
21-year-old suspect was also
arrested on two outstanding
Theft by Check warrants. Both were transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On August 24, 2011, Deputy Houstoun was dispatched to a
Shoplifter in Custody call at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspect, a
26-year-old female from
Houston, attempted to take $220 worth of
merchandise from JC Penney’s Department Store. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On August 25, 2011, Deputy Eisenmenger and Deputy Herman
arrested a
46-year-old female from
Spring for an outstanding
warrant after a
traffic stop on South Panther Creek and Woodstock Circle.
On August 25, 2011, Deputy Weatherford was dispatched to a
Shoplifter in Custody call at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspect, a
19-year-old female from
Houston, attempted to take $217.95 worth of
merchandise from Sears Department Store. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On August 25, 2011, Deputy Ross was dispatched to a
Shoplifter in Custody call at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspects, a
17-year-old female from
Conroe and
17-year-old female from
The Woodlands were
arrested after they attempted to take $280 worth of
merchandise from JC Penney’s Department Store. Both were transported to the Montgomery County Jail and charged with
Theft.
On August 26, 2011, Deputy Aguilar was dispatched to a location on Forest Gate Drive in reference to a Welfare Check of a male lying on the ground, possibly needing medical attention. During the course of the investigation, an
18-year-old female from
The Woodlands, was found to be in
possession of a small amount of
marijuana. She was taken into custody, charged with
Possession of
Marijuana, and transported without incident to the Montgomery County Jail.
On August 26, 2011, Deputy Prince
arrested a
21-year-old male from
Spring after conducting a
traffic stop on Six Pines. The suspect was found to be
intoxicated and was taken into custody for
Driving While Intoxicated and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On August 27, 2011, Deputy Ortiz
arrested a
23-year-old male from
Houston for Driving While
License Suspended after conducting a
traffic stop on Glen Loch Forest Drive.
On August 27, 2011, Deputy Prince
arrested a
27-year-old male from
Houston for
Driving While Intoxicated after conducting a
Traffic Stop to check the welfare of the passenger whom it appeared was being restrained by the suspect. The suspect was also found to be driving with a
suspended license and was additionally charged with Driving While
License Suspended.
