The Woodlands Police Blotter for 07/21/2011:
District 2:
On July 11, 2011, Deputy Wilkerson was dispatched to a Welfare Check on Sendera Drive. Upon arrival, he met with the complainant who stated that the suspect,
47-year-old male, had struck a
child with a plastic object. The complainant had bruises and cuts. The suspect was taken into custody for Injury to a
Child –
Family Violence and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On July 12, 2011, Deputy Jobe, Deputy Rosales, and Sr. Sergeant Russell were dispatched to a
Burglary in Progress call on Wildwood Forest Drive. Upon arrival, Deputy Jobe observed a vehicle with two female occupants in the vehicle near the
burglary. Sr. Sergeant Russell located nearby a
20-year-old male from
Spring. An estimated $1800 worth of property was located in the suspect vehicle and was returned to the rightful owner. The suspect was taken in to custody for
Felony Theft and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On July 14, 2011, Sergeant Barber was dispatched to Borough Park Drive in reference to a
suspicious person. Witnesses reported that a male was walking around the parking lot and they could hear glass breaking. Sergeant Barber located the suspect sitting in his vehicle with a broken window. The suspect had a very strong odor of an
alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath. Due to his level of
intoxication, the suspect,
20 year old male from
Spring, was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On July 14, 2011, Sr. Sergeant Russell conducted a
traffic stop on Sawdust Road. The driver,
24-year-old male from
Houston, was found to have a
suspended license and
prior convictions for Driving While
License Suspended. The driver was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. The suspect had one $100 bill and two $50 bills that were counterfeit. Three additional charges were added for
Felony Forgery.
District 6:
On July 14, 2011, Deputy Harrison was dispatched to 3040 College Park Drive in reference to a
Shoplifter. The suspect,
23-year-old female from
Conroe, attempted to take $86.91 worth of
merchandise from Wal-Mart. The suspect was taken into custody for
Theft and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On July 14, 2011, Deputy Conklin
arrested a
35-year-old male from Willis for
Public Intoxication. Deputy Conklin had been advised by several witnesses that the suspect was staggering around and videotaping people. Deputy Conklin spoke with the suspect and determined that he was
intoxicated. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On July 15, 2011, Deputy Suarez along with several other deputies responded to a Welfare Check in the area of Woodlands Parkway and Panther Creek. Witnesses reported that the driver of a car was possibly
intoxicated and had a
child in the vehicle. The vehicle was located in a left turn lane and a one-month-old
child on the front seat. The driver, a
35-year-old female from
Houston, had a heavy odor of an
alcoholic beverage and was unsteady on her feet. The suspect was taken into custody and charged with State Jail
Felony Driving While Intoxicated with
Child under
15 years old. The baby was released to family.
On July 15, 2011, Deputy Conklin observed several people standing around on the walkway near Six Pines. Deputy Conklin found one of the suspects to be in
possession of
marijuana. The suspect was charged with
Possession of
Marijuana and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On July 15, 2011, Deputy Conklin was on foot patrol on the Water Way when he observed a male staggering. Deputy Conklin made contact with the suspect,
32-year-old male from
The Woodlands, and observed him to have a very strong odor of an
alcoholic beverage. Due to his high level of
intoxication, the suspect was taken into custody for
Public Intoxication.
On July 16, 2011, Deputy Weatherford was dispatched to 1201 Lake Woodlands in reference to a
Shoplifter. The suspect, a
27-year-old female from
The Woodlands, attempted to take $165.45 worth of
merchandise from Macy’s. The suspect was taken into custody charged with
Theft and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On July 16, 2011, Deputy Conklin
arrested a
29-year-old male from Austin for
Public Intoxication. The suspect was observed to be making gestures that he was about to
urinate on a public wall. The suspect was unsteady on his feet and due to his level of
intoxication was placed into custody for
Public Intoxication.
On July 17, 2011, Deputy Conklin observed a
31-year-old male from
The Woodlands staggering on the Water Way. Deputy Conklin made contact with the suspect who was unsteady on his feet. The suspect stated that he was going to walk because he had too much to drink. Due to his level of
intoxication the suspect was taken into custody for
Public Intoxication.
On July 17, 2011, Deputy Conklin
arrested a
22-year-old male from
The Woodlands for
Public Intoxication after finding the suspect unresponsive and leaning against a sign on Waterway Avenue. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On July 17, 2011, Deputy Henson
arrested a
37-year-old male from
Spring for
Public Intoxication after he was observed staggering down Waterway Avenue. Due to his high level of
intoxication the suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
