The Woodlands Police Blotter for 03/03/2011:
District 2:
On February 21, 2011, Sgt. Russell
arrested a
32-year-old male from Onalaska after a
traffic stop on Rayford Road. The suspect was found to have an active suspension of his license for
alcohol related offenses. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail charged with
Driving While License Invalid.
On February 21, 2011, Deputy Hardin was dispatched to 1025 Sawdust Road in reference to a
Theft. The suspect had taken video games from Wal-Mart. Deputy Hardin located the suspect a few blocks away while patrolling the area. The suspect,
29-year-old male from
Spring, was detained and during the course of the investigation, was found to be in
possession of .26 ounces of
marijuana. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail, charged with
Possession of
Marijuana.
On February 22, 2011, Deputy Jobe was traveling south on the IH-45 frontage road when he observed an EMS unit that had stopped for a single vehicle accident. Deputy Jobe noticed a strong odor of
marijuana coming from the vehicle. During the course of the investigation, Deputy Jobe located .05 ounces of
marijuana and other
drug paraphernalia. The suspect,
23- year-old female from
Spring, was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail after receiving medical treatment for the accident.
On February 23, 2011, Deputy Barber observed a vehicle traveling south on Riley Fuzzel Road that was failing to maintain a single lane of travel, and almost causing a
collision with the vehicle in the next lane. Deputy Barber conducted a
traffic stop and made contact with the driver,
50- year-old female from
Spring. The driver had a strong odor of an
alcoholic beverage emitting from her breath as she spoke, and had trouble walking or standing without stumbling or swaying. After the conclusion of the Standardized Field
Sobriety Tests, the driver was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail charged with
Driving While Intoxicated.
On February 26, 2011, Deputy Mitchell responded to a Welfare Check at 1511 Rayford Road. Deputy Mitchell met with the suspect,
57-year-old male from Galveston, and determined that the suspect was
intoxicated. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail charged with
Public Intoxication.
District 6:
2/20 - Deputy Aguilar
arrested a
24-year-old female from
Conroe for
Theft at 3040 College Park Drive. The suspect attempted to take $94.84 worth of
merchandise from Wal-Mart. The suspect, and a friend, switched the barcodes on items prior to checking out. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On February 21, 2011, Deputy Veith responded to a Welfare Check at 4901 Research Forest. Upon arrival, a subject,
17-year-old male from
Conroe, was in an ambulance and was very lethargic and unable to communicate.
Marijuana was found on the
17 year old and also on two
18 year old males who was on the scene. Both were transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
2/22 – Deputy Houstoun
arrested a
20 year old male and an
18-year-old female, both from
Conroe, for
Theft at 1201 Lake Woodlands. The suspects attempted to take $105.00 worth of
merchandise from Urban Outfitters. The suspects were taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
2/23 – Deputy Cogdill
arrested a
21-year-old male from Willis for
Theft at 3040 College Park Drive. The suspect attempted to take
merchandise valued at $688.00 from Wal-Mart. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On February 24, 2011, Deputy Prince went en route to 1550 Lake Robbins drive to assist Deputy Conklin with a minor motor vehicle accident. The suspect,
28-year-old male from
Cleveland had a strong odor of an
alcoholic beverage. Deputy Prince conducted several Standardized Field
Sobriety Tests with the suspect and at the conclusion determined the suspect did not have normal or physical faculties due to the consumption of alcoholic beverages. The suspect was taken into custody for
Driving While Intoxicated and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On February 24, 2011, Deputy Conklin responded to a
Disturbance call at Water Way Avenue. Upon arrival, Deputy Conklin observed two
intoxicated males coming down the stairs, one of which was bleeding from his hand. Deputy Conklin was advised by witnesses that they had been causing the
disturbance. The injured suspect,
26-year-old male from
Houston had punched and broken a glass door. The suspect was taken into custody, charged with
Criminal Mischief and
Public Intoxication. The second suspect,
43-year-old male from
The Woodlands, was also
arrested for
Public Intoxication. Both were transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
2/24 – Deputy Godden
arrested a
16-year-old female from
Spring for
Theft at 1201 Lake Woodlands. The suspect and friends, attempted to take
merchandise valued at $308.81 from Dillard’s, by placing items in a backpack carried by the suspect. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County
Juvenile Detention Facility without incident. Her friends
fled the scene when confronted by Loss Prevention Officers.
2/25 – Deputy Weatherford
arrested an
18-year old male from
Houston for
Theft at 1201 Lake Woodlands. The suspect attempted to take $111.00 worth of
merchandise from JC Penney’s. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
2/26 – Deputy Evans
arrested 36 year old female from
Magnolia for
Theft at 10001 Woodlands Parkway. The suspect placed $72.00 worth of
merchandise in her purse and passed all points of sale without attempting to purchase the concealed items. When approached by Wal-Mart Loss Prevention officers the suspect ran across the parking lot throwing the items taken on the ground as she ran. Deputy Evans located the suspect in an apartment complex nearby and returned her to the scene. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident. Charges were upgraded to State Jail
Felony due to previous
Theft Convictions.
2/26 – Deputy Niquette and Deputy Clifton
arrested a
23-year-old female from
Spring for
Theft at 3040 College Park Drive. The suspect attempted to take
merchandise valued at $179.33 from Wal-Mart. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
