District 2:
On February 14, 2011, Senior Sergeant Russell
arrested a
29-year-old male from
Spring, after a
traffic stop in the 25000 block of the IH-45 feeder road. The suspect gave Sr. Sergeant Russell a fictitious name and date of birth when asked to verify his identity. The suspect’s vehicle was towed due to the suspect having
no insurance and no driver license. The suspect was later found to have given Sr. Sergeant Russell inaccurate identifying information. Sr. Sergeant Russell contacted the District Attorney’s Office and charges for
Failure to Identify were accepted. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On February 16, 2011, Deputy Mitchell responded to an
Assault Family Violence on Rayford Road. Upon arrival, Deputy Mitchell observed both parties to be involved in a verbal confrontation. During the course of his investigation, Deputy Mitchell found the suspect,
33- year-old male from
Houston, to have .345 ounces of
marijuana on his person. The suspect was taken into custody charged with
Possession of
Marijuana, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
District 6:
2/11 - Deputy Rodriguez
arrested a
16-year-old female and a
17-year-old female from
Conroe for
Theft at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspects attempted to take $174.88 worth of clothes from Sears. The suspects were taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County
Juvenile Detention Facility and the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On February 14, 2011, Deputy Norum responded to a
theft call on West Panther Creek. Upon arrival, he met with the Loss Prevention Officer for Wells Fargo Bank and an employee. The employee was found to have taken approximately $640 over several different days from her cash drawer. Deputy Norum contacted the District Attorney’s office and charges for Class A
Theft were accepted. The suspect,
21-year-old female from
Spring, was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail in
Conroe.
On February 15, 2011, Deputy Epperson was traveling on Gosling Road when he noticed a vehicle traveling behind him with a broken headlight. When Deputy Epperson attempted to stop the vehicle, the vehicle accelerated, pulling away from Deputy Epperson. Approximately a mile later, the vehicle pulled over and the driver,
29-year-old male from
Tomball was detained. At the conclusion of Deputy Epperson’s investigation, the suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail, charged with State Jail
Felony Evading in a Motor Vehicle.
On February 15, 2011, Deputy Prince, while assisting another Deputy with a
traffic stop, observed two vehicles pass at a high rate of speed. Deputy Prince proceeded to follow the other two vehicles, eventually catching up with one of the trucks that he also observed to be
swerving in the lane of travel. The driver,
22-year-old male from
The Woodlands, had a strong odor of an
alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath. After completing the Standardized Field
Sobriety Tests, the driver was taken into custody for
Driving While Intoxicated transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On February 17, 2011, Deputy Ward responded to a
Fraud call at 10001 Woodlands Parkway. The suspect,
37 year old male from
The Woodlands, had dropped off a prescription at the pharmacy and it was determined that the prescription was
fraudulent. The suspect was taken into custody, charged with
Fraud, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
2/18 – Deputy Niquette and Deputy Clifton
arrested 37-year-old male from
Magnolia for
Theft at 10001 Woodlands Parkway. The suspect attempted to take
merchandise valued at $150.14 from Wal-Mart. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
2/18 – Deputy Weatherford
arrested a
19-year-old Female and
18-year-old female from
Magnolia and a
19-year-old Female from
Tomball for
Theft at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspects attempted to take $270.92 worth of
merchandise from Macy’s. The suspects were all taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail in
Conroe. A
15-year-old female from
Magnolia received a citation for
Theft for attempting to take $20 worth of
merchandise from Macy’s. The suspect was released to a parent who was called to the location.
On February 19, 2011, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by Sears’s loss prevention concerning an ongoing problem with electronic
merchandise being
stolen by employees. Sears Loss prevention found that two employees had taken approximately $22,000 over a period of time. The two suspects were also implicated by Loss Prevention in a
theft that occurred that day where a total of $3300 in electronics had been taken. A third suspect from
Houston was also implicated. All three were
arrested for Engaging in Organized Crime.
On February 20, 2011, Deputy Underwood investigated a
suspicious vehicle parked on Ellwood. The driver,
43-year-old female from
Spring, was the only occupant of the vehicle. The driver identified herself to Deputy Underwood, and after checking her name and date of birth, found that she had an active
warrant. While Deputy Underwood was taking her into custody, she provided Deputy Underwood with her true identification. She also had a
warrant under her real name. The suspect was also found to be in
possession of a small amount of
Methamphetamine and a bag containing several different types of
pills. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail charged with
Possession of
Controlled Substance with intent to Deliver,
Forgery, and two warrants.
