The Woodlands Police Blotter for 01/26/2011:
District 2:
On January 5, 2011, Deputy Everton responded to an
Assault call on Richards Road. Upon arrival, he met with the complainant and determined that the suspect,
52-year-old male, had struck her several times, causing bruising and some bleeding. The suspect was taken into custody for
Assault Family Violence and was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On January 17, 2011, Deputy Jobe
arrested 21-year-old male from
Spring for
Evading in a Motor Vehicle. The suspect was observed
swerving in his lane and driving with two flat tires. Deputy Jobe attempted to conduct a
traffic stop, but the suspect vehicle continued to drive south on the feeder road towards Sawdust Road, made the U-Turn and proceeded back north on the feeder road. The suspect vehicle finally stopped on Rayford Forest Drive. The driver was quickly detained and identified. The suspect was taken to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On January 19, 2011, Deputy Jobe initially responded to a Recovery of a
Stolen Vehicle call at the intersection of Brook Hollow and Glen Forest Drive. Upon arrival, he met with the complainants who stated that they had seen a male suspect walking away from the vehicle and when they tried to follow him, he ran into the woods. Deputy Jobe searched the area and located the suspect, a
20-year-old male from
Conroe, a short distance away. The suspect was found to have several different tools on his person that are commonly used for burglarizing vehicles. He was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On January 20, 2011, Deputy Fruge
arrested a
47-year-old female from
Conroe for
Theft at 1025 Sawdust Road. The suspect attempted to take $96.41 worth of
merchandise from Wal-Mart. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On January 22, 2011, Deputy Rosales was dispatched to a
Burglary of a Motor Vehicle, at 24903 IH-45. As Deputy Rosales and other units arrived on location, a vehicle matching the description of the suspect vehicle was pulling out of the parking lot. A
traffic stop was conducted and the two occupants of the vehicle were positively identified as the two men seen attempting to break into a vehicle in the parking lot. The suspects,
20-year-old male and
28- year-old male both from
Houston, were transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
District 6:
1/10 - Deputy Ansley
arrested a
54-year-old female from Willis for
Theft at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspects attempted to take $147.98 worth of
merchandise from Macy’s. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
1/13 - Deputy Houstoun
arrested a
21-year-old male from
Magnolia for
Theft at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspects attempted to take $52.00 worth of
merchandise from Sear’s. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
1/13 - Deputy Conklin
arrested a
23-year-old female from
Houston for
Theft at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspects attempted to take $266.00 worth of
merchandise from Dillard’s. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On January 16, 2011, Deputy Weatherford
arrested a
28-year-old female from
The Woodlands, for
Possession of
Marijuana after a
traffic stop on Six Pines and Lake Robbins.
On January 18, 2011, Deputy Carson
arrested a
24-year-old male from Willis, for
Possession of
Marijuana after a
traffic stop on Research Forest and Gosling.
On January 19, 2011, Deputy Hardin and Deputy Rodriguez responded to Timberloch Drive and IH-45 to assist with a
traffic stop in reference to a
Criminal Mischief at 4192 Lake Woodlands. The suspects,
24-year-old male and
26-year old male from
Houston, were positively identified as the two men observed breaking into a vehicle at Shadowbend Park. Both suspects were placed into custody for
Criminal Mischief and their vehicle was towed. A criminal history check found one of the suspects to have an active
warrant out of Harris County and he was booked on that charge as well. An inventory of the vehicle, incident to the tow, found numerous gift cards, cell phones, iPods, a GPS, and a camera. Most of the items located were listed as
stolen out of Harris County. Additional charges for
Possession of
Stolen Property were added to both suspects.
1/20 – Deputy Houstoun
arrested a
43-year-old female from
Magnolia and a
46-year-old female from Honduras for
Theft at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspects attempted to take $350.32 worth of
merchandise from Macy’s. The suspects were taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
1/21 – Deputy Ansley
arrested a
67-year-old female from
The Woodlands for
Theft at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspects attempted to take $543.96 worth of
merchandise from Macy’s. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On January 22, 2011, Deputy Neal responded to a
Theft In Progress call on SH 242 and IH-45. The suspect was observed taking construction material, 4 concrete forms, from a Construction Holding Yard under the bridge on SH 242. A witness followed the suspects until Deputy Neal arrived on scene. The driver,
60-year-old male from Porter, was detained for State Jail
Felony Theft. The passenger,
48-year-old male, was found to have a
warrant for a Parole Violation. Both were taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On January 22, 2011, Deputy Dewey responded to a
Burglary of a Building call at 8900 Sterling Ridge Drive. Upon arrival, he met with the complainant, who stated that he received a call from their alarm company that three doors had been opened at the building. Upon his arrival, two men, both
18-years-old from
The Woodlands, were seen walking on a path nearby. They identified themselves and told the complainant they were walking by and heard the alarm. Deputy Dewey detained the two men, and conducted a search of the building and surrounding area. A cell phone was found inside the shop, numerous rolls of coins and loose coins were found in the flowerbed with a bank bag and a stack of clothing on hangers. At the conclusion of Deputy Dewey’s investigation, it was found that the cell phone found inside the shop belonged to one of the suspects. Both were taken into custody and charged with
Burglary of a Building, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
