The Woodlands Police Blotter for 01/19/2011:
District 2:
On January 10, 2011, Deputy Fruge responded to an
Assault/
Family Violence call on Douglass Fir. Deputy Fruge met with all parties involved and determined that an
assault had taken place and the suspect, a
48-year-old male was
arrested for Class A
Assault Family Violence. The other party to the altercation received a citation for
disorderly conduct.
On January 13, 2011, Deputy Maldonado and Sergeant Barber were dispatched to a
suspicious vehicle call on Hallimore Drive. Upon arrival, they made contact with the driver,
23-year-old female from
Spring, who had an unsteady balance,
bloodshot eyes and an odor of an
alcoholic beverage emitting from her breath. During the course of the investigation, the suspect was found to be in
possession of
marijuana. The passenger in the vehicle,
27-year-old male from
Spring, was also exhibiting an unsteady balance,
bloodshot eyes, and an odor of an
alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath. Both suspects were charged with
Public Intoxication and
Possession of
Marijuana. The passenger was also charged with
Failure to Identify for giving the Deputies a fictitious name to avoid being
arrested for an outstanding
arrest warrant. Both were transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On January 15, 2011, Deputy Swank responded to a call regarding a suspicious males hanging around the parking lot and looking in cars at 425 Rayford Road. Upon arrival, Deputy Swank made contact with one male,
18 years old, who appeared very nervous and hesitated answering any questions. While talking with the suspect, the suspect told Deputy Swank he had
marijuana on his person and in his apartment. Fifteen clear bags containing
marijuana were located by Deputy Swank. The suspect was taken into custody, charged with
Possession of
Marijuana, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On January 16, 2011, Deputy Fruge
arrested a
39-year-old male from
Conroe for
Credit Card Abuse at 25550 IH-45. The suspect had used two
stolen credit cards to purchase $250 worth of gift cards. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On January 16, 2011, Deputy Wakefield responded to a
Burglary of a Habitation on Darby Loop. Upon arrival, he met with the homeowner who stated that his neighbor called and said he had seen someone entering a back window of his house. Deputy Wakefield found the suspect,
23- year-old male from
Magnolia,
hiding under the house. The suspect had cut two sections of copper wiring from the home. The suspect was taken into custody, charged with
Burglary of a Habitation and with an outstanding
warrant for his
arrest.
District 6:
On January 7, 2011, Deputy Ansley responded to a
Theft call at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. Deputy Ansley met with the Loss Prevention officer who stated that after an internal investigation it was found that the store manager,
32-year-old male from
the Woodlands, had conducted numerous
fraudulent returns and pocketed the money. During the course of the investigation, it was found that the suspect had conducted over 42 transactions totaling $3952. The suspect was taken into custody charged with Aggregate
Theft, and was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On January 10, 2011, Deputy Hollan and Deputy Weatherford were dispatched to 1201 Lake Woodlands in reference to a
Criminal Trespass. Mall Security Officers reported that they found the suspect,
19-year-old male from
The Woodlands, on the roof of the Mall. The suspect stated he had climbed over a gate to gain access to the roof. The gate is clearly marked “No Unauthorized Personnel.” The suspect was taken into custody for Criminal
Trespassing. During a search of the suspect, incident to the
arrest, he was found to be in
possession of
marijuana. Additional charges for
Possession of
Marijuana were added, and the suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
1/11 – Deputy Weatherford
arrested a
20-year-old female and an
18-year-old female from
Houston for
Theft at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspects attempted to take $137.00 worth of
merchandise from Macy’s. The suspects were taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
1/14 - Deputy Foreman
arrested a
25-year-old female from
Conroe for
Theft at 3040 College Park Drive. The suspect attempted to take $5.48 worth of grocery items from Wal-Mart. Deputy Foreman found during his investigation that the suspect had two
prior convictions for
theft. He then contacted the District Attorney’s Office and advised them of the situation. Due to the previous convictions, the current
theft charge was enhanced to a State Jail
Felony. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
1/14 – Deputy Martin
arrested a
17-year-old female from
Spring for
Theft at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspects attempted to take $98.96 worth of
merchandise from Urban Outfitters. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
1/17 - Deputy Rizk
arrested a
19-year-old male from
Houston for
Theft at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspects attempted to take $340.00 worth of
merchandise from Dillard’s. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
