The Woodlands Police Blotter for 01/13/2011:
District 2:
On January 2, 2010, Deputy Maldonado and Deputy Swank were dispatched to assist at an
Assault/
Family Violence on Rayford Road. Deputy Everton was on scene, having been flagged down by a store clerk in reference to a woman
screaming and two men fighting in the parking lot. All parties involved were found to be
intoxicated. The
32-year-old female was
arrested for
Public Intoxication and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. The
54-year-old male and
32-year-old male (
father and son) were both
arrested for
Assault Family Violence and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without further incident.
On January 9, 2011, Deputy Swank was on patrol traveling on Budde Road when he observed an adult female running from a nearby apartment complex. She appeared to be
upset when Deputy Swank stopped she advised she had just been
assaulted. At that time, the suspect walked out onto Briar Rock Road, and was identified by the female as the person who had
assaulted her. Deputy Swank attempted to stop the suspect to talk with him, when the suspect took off running through a wooded area. A brief chase ensued with Deputy Swank locating the suspect
hiding in the heavy brush. The suspect actively continued to
resist and after a brief
struggle was detained. The suspect,
29-year-old male from New Caney, was
arrested for
Assault Family Violence,
Evading on Foot, and
Resisting Arrest and was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
District 6:
On December 28, 2010, Deputy Koth
arrested a
42-year-old male,
31-year-old female and a
22- year-old female all from
Houston, for
Theft at 3040 College Park Drive. Deputy Koth was notified by a Loss Prevention Officer that three suspects had concealed a large number of items and left the store without paying. The suspects were seen leaving the parking area and almost hit several customers in the parking lot. After a brief chase on the frontage road of I-45, the suspect vehicle came to a stop at a gas station. The
merchandise taken from Wal-Mart was recovered. All the suspects were taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. The two female suspects were charged with Class B Misdemeanor
Theft. The male suspect was charged with State Jail
Felony Evading in a Motor Vehicle and State Jail
Felony Theft due to two
prior convictions.
12/29 – Deputy Rodriguez
arrested a
14-year-old male from Willis, for
Theft at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspect attempted to take $60 worth of
merchandise from JC Penny’s. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County
Juvenile Detention Facility without incident.
On December 31, 2010, at approximately 11:15 p.m., Deputy Kitchens observed a vehicle traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of Gosling Road. Deputy Kitchens conducted at
traffic stop of the vehicle and found the driver,
33-year-old female from
The Woodlands, to have numerous beer bottles around the floorboard of the vehicle. The suspect had a strong odor of an
alcoholic beverage. Deputy Kitchens also noticed that the suspect exhibited
slurred speech, was unsteady. The suspect was
arrested, for
Driving While Intoxicated, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
1/3 – Deputy Aguilar
arrested 17-year-old male from
Spring, for
Theft at 10001 Woodlands Parkway. The suspect attempted to take $214.31 worth of grocery and other items from Wal- Mart. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On January 6, 2010, Deputy Lawless responded to a
Burglary of a Motor Vehicle at 6116 Woodlands Parkway. Upon arrival, Deputy Lawless met with the complainant who stated that he had observed a
suspicious vehicle parked next to his truck and when he went to investigate, the suspect,
28-year-old male from
Houston, was exiting the victim’s truck. The complainant was able to give Deputy Lawless a good description of the suspect and vehicle. A short time later, Sergeant Cassidy located the suspect vehicle and recovered
stolen items. Another suspect,
27-year-old male from
Houston, was also detained at this scene. Both were charged with
Burglary of a Motor Vehicle and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
1/6 - Deputy Carson
arrested a
62-year-old male from
Conroe, for
Theft at 3040 College Park Drive. The suspect attempted to take $369.20 worth of grocery and other items from Wal-Mart. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
1/7 – Deputy Ross
arrested a
26 year old male from
Houston, for
Theft from 1550 Lake Woodlands. The suspect attempted to take a Bose V25 System, valued at $2,249.99 from Best Buy. The suspect had replaced the barcode tag with a tag from a $143.00 Bose product. After paying for the item, based on the incorrect tag, the suspect attempted to leave the store, where he was detained by Loss Prevention Officer until Deputy Ross’ arrival. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office without incident.
On January 8, 2011, Deputy Underwood responded to a
suspicious vehicle call at the dead end of Grogan’s Point Road. Upon arrival, Deputy Underwood made contact with the six subjects in the vehicle. After conducting his investigation, Deputy Underwood placed a
17-year-old male from
Spring, into custody for
possession of
marijuana. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
1/8 – Deputy Borchardt
arrested 16-year-old female from
Conroe for
Theft at 1201 Lake Woodlands. The suspect attempted to take $84.85 worth of
merchandise from Macy’s. The suspect was taken into custody, and transported to the Montgomery County
Juvenile Detention Facility without incident.
1/8 – Deputy Prince
arrested 20-year-old female from Montgomery for
Theft at 1201 Lake Woodlands. The suspect attempted to take $119.50 worth of
merchandise from Macy’s. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On January 9, 2011, at approximately 2:15 am, Deputy Borchardt observed approximately six males and at least two females in a group across the street from the America’s bar that appeared to be in a verbal altercation and then began to
assault each other. As Deputy Borchardt was attempting to detain one of the males the group continued to physically assaulting each other. The group ignored the deputy’s commands to cease and desist and they continued to physically
assault each other. Deputy Borchardt administered one burst of OC spray into the group and group
fled on foot to different areas of the Waterway. With the assistance of responding deputies, a
22-year-old male from
Conroe was
arrested for
Public Intoxication and
Assault, a
25- year-old female, and a
24-year-old male were
arrested for
Public Intoxication. All detained suspects were transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
