District 2:
12/22 - Deputy Mitchell
arrested 21-year-old female from Missouri City for
Theft at 1025 Sawdust Road. The suspect attempted to take $412.60 worth of
merchandise from Wal-Mart. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On December 24, 2010, Deputy Jobe was dispatched to the intersection of Riley Fuzzel and Birnhamwoods Blvd. to assist a Harris County officer on a
traffic stop. Upon arrival, Deputy Jobe met with Deputy Persaud, who stated that he was on his way home when the suspect nearly struck his patrol vehicle. Deputy Persaud then activated his emergency equipment, conducted a
traffic stop of the suspect vehicle, and waited for Montgomery County deputies to arrive. Deputy Jobe made contact with the suspect,
32 year old male from
Conroe, who was showing signs of
intoxication. The suspect could hardly stand up and nearly fell over several times during the interview. During the course of the investigation a container with
marijuana and brownies with
marijuana baked in them was located. Additional charges of
Possession of
Marijuana were added and the suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On December 25, 2010, Deputy Wakefield while in the area of Briarcrest Apartments observed three men stumbling around near the roadway. Deputy Wakefield made contact with the men, ages 35, 35 and 25, all from
Spring and were for
Public Intoxication. All three men were transported to the Montgomery County Jail. Jail staff located two small bags on one of the men that contained a white powdery substance. The substance field-tested positive for
cocaine and an additional charge of
Possession of a
Controlled Substance was added to that suspect’s
arrest record.
12/25 - Deputy Mitchell
arrested a
20 year old female and a
17 year old female both from New Caney, for
Theft at 25101 Grogans Mill Road. The suspects attempted to take $166.43 worth of
merchandise from the CVS Pharmacy. The suspects were taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On December 28, 2010, at approximately 2:30 am, Deputy Jobe witnessed a vehicle on Sawdust Road, driving with no lights on, failing to maintain a single marked lane, striking a center divider, driving in and over medians, and driving into oncoming traffic. Deputy Jobe activated his lights and siren to signal a
traffic stop. The vehicle eventually stopped facing the wrong way on the roadway. Deputy Jobe made contact with the driver and noticed an overwhelming odor of
alcohol. The driver was clearly too
intoxicated to operate a motor vehicle. She was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail, where she was charged with
Driving While Intoxicated.
On December 30, 2010, Deputy Maldonado and Deputy Swank were dispatched to a residence at 25000 block of IH-45, in reference to an
Assault Family Violence. Upon arrival, they met with all parties involved and found that the suspect,
48-year-old male from
Spring, had been drinking and had an argument with his wife. At one point in the argument, the suspect struck his wife. The suspect was taken into custody for
Assault-
Family Violence and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
District 6:
12/22 – Deputy Sherlock
arrested a
23-year-old female and a
26-year-old male both from
Houston, for
Theft at 3040 College Park Drive. The suspects attempted to take $248.52 worth of
merchandise from Wal-Mart. The suspects were taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
12/23 – Deputy Prince
arrested a
27-year-old male from
Humble for
Theft/Aggregate
Theft at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspect, a store employee, attempted to take $73.00 worth of
merchandise from Macy’s. The suspect was stopped by Loss Prevention and returned to the store to await the deputy’s arrival. The suspect had been under surveillance due to a large amount of money missing from his register on multiple occasions. The suspect would pocket cash payments during a transaction or would credit back previous purchases to his
credit card, without actually returning the
merchandise. Total amount taken over a several weeks is approximately $1325.04. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
12/24 – Deputy Evans
arrested a
21-year-old male from
Houston for
Theft at 3040 College Park Drive. The suspect attempted to take $117.00 worth of
merchandise from Wal-Mart. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On December 25, 2010, Deputy Underwood
arrested a
19-year-old female from
The Woodlands for
Possession of
Marijuana, after a
traffic stop on Glen Loch and Dawnwood. The suspect was a passenger in a vehicle that was the subject of an earlier Attempt to locate. Deputy Underwood had located the vehicle and conducted a
traffic stop based on the information received from Dispatch. Upon approaching the vehicle, Deputy Underwood noticed a strong odor of
marijuana emitting from the vehicle. During his investigation, the passenger was found to have a small bag containing .028 oz. of
marijuana in her seat. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On December 26, 2010, Sergeant Jenkins was patrolling the area of Fountains Plaza when he was approached by a Silver BMW travelling in his lane of traffic. The BMW
swerved and missed a
collision with the patrol vehicle and then drove into a nearby parking garage on Lake Robbins. Sergeant Jenkins made contact with the driver as the driver was exiting his vehicle. Sergeant Jenkins noticed the driver was unsteady on his feet and slightly staggering. The driver,
25-year-old male from
Magnolia, was argumentative, but did agree to perform the Field
Sobriety Tests. After several attempts, the suspect stated he could not see to do the test and stopped. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail charged with
Driving While Intoxicated.
On December 26, 2010, Deputy Lawless responded to a
Burglary of a Habitation call. The complainant stated they let the suspect into their home to use the phone, supposedly to call for emergency services for the suspect’s
father, who was having a heart
attack. The complainant left the apartment during the phone call and when he returned, the suspect was gone and his XBOX 360 was missing. A short time later, another resident in the same complex called with a similar situation. The suspect, again asking to use the phone, had attempted to take her wallet. The suspect gave her a fictitious name and address. Deputy Lawless located the suspect, a
24-year- old male from
The Woodlands. He was taken into custody. The suspect was charged with two counts of
Burglary of a Habitation and Violation of a Protective Order. He was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On December 28, 2010 at approximately 12:13 am, Deputy Jones observed a vehicle parked in the Alden Bridge Park and proceeded to investigate, due to the park being closed from dusk to dawn. As he pulled into the parking lot, the vehicle attempted to drive around his patrol vehicle. Deputy Jones conducted a stop of the vehicle and during the course of his contact with the driver,
18-year-old male from
The Woodlands, and the passenger,
17-year-old female from
The Woodlands, found both to be in
possession of separate containers of
marijuana. Both were charged with
Possession of
Marijuana and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
