The Woodlands Police Blotter for 11/25/2010:
District 2:
On November 15, 2010, Sergeant Hammons
arrested a
25 year old male from
Spring for
Driving While Intoxicated. The suspect had been observed
weaving in traffic, and several times almost hitting other vehicles as well as almost rear-ending an 18-wheeler. Sergeant Hammons located the vehicle and after witnessing the vehicle unable to maintain a single lane of travel conducted a
traffic stop. The driver had dilated-glassy eyes,
slurred speech and was very lethargic. Due to the driver’s
intoxicated state, he was unable to perform the Standardized Field
Sobriety Tests correctly. The driver was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. The passenger of the vehicle,
25 year old female from Willis, was also
arrested due to her being in
possession of five Soma
pills without a prescription. She was transported to the Montgomery County Jail charged with
Possession of
Controlled Substance.
On November 21, 2010, Deputy Underwood
arrested a
27 year old female and a
23 year old male both from
Spring, after responding to a
Disturbance in Progress call at 107 Rayford Road. The male suspect had red
bloodshot eyes,
slurred speech, and a heavy odor of
alcohol, which became stronger as he spoke. He was taken into custody charged with
Public Intoxication and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. The female suspect returned to the scene and also appeared to be heavily
intoxicated. During the course of the investigation, the female suspect was also found to be in
possession of 25.89 grams of
Hydrocodone. She was taken into custody charged with
Public Intoxication and
Possession of a
Controlled Substance, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
District 6:
11/12 – Deputy Martin
arrested a
17-year-old female from
Spring, for
Theft at 1201 Lake Woodlands. The suspect attempted to take $56.29 worth of
merchandise from Icing. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident. A second suspect,
17-year-old female from
Houston, was issued a Class C Citation for
Theft for taking $26.52 worth of
merchandise.
11/14 - Deputy Whitworth
arrested a
14 year old female from
Spring, for
Theft at 1201 Lake Woodlands. The suspect attempted to take $124.00 worth of jewelry from J.C. Penny’s. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County
Juvenile Detention Center without incident.
11/15 - Deputy Schmaltz
arrested a
32 year old male from
Conroe, for
Theft at 3040 College Park Drive. The suspect attempted to take $89 worth of
merchandise from Wal-Mart. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
11/15 - Deputy Schmaltz
arrested a
48 year old male from Willis, for
Theft at 3040 College Park Drive. The suspect attempted to take $48 worth of
merchandise from Wal-Mart. The suspect was taken into custody charged with State Jail
Felony Theft of Copper, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
11/15 – Deputy Houstoun
arrested 14-year-old female, for
Theft at 1201 Lake Woodlands. The suspect attempted to take $52.00 worth of
merchandise from J.C. Penny’s. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County
Juvenile Detention Center without incident.
11/16 – Deputy Houstoun
arrested a
16-year-old male and a
17 year old male both from
Spring for
Theft at 1201 Lake Woodlands. The suspects attempted to take $50.00 worth of
merchandise from J.C. Penny’s. The suspects were transported to the Montgomery County
Juvenile Detention Facility and Montgomery County Jail charged with class b misdemeanor
theft.
11/17 – Deputy Houstoun
arrested a
23 year old female from Montgomery for
Theft at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspect attempted to take $98.98 worth of
merchandise from Macy’s. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
11/18 – Deputy Epperson and Deputy McCoy
arrested an
18 year old male from
Magnolia for
Theft at 3040 College Park Drive. The suspect attempted to take $59.88 worth of
merchandise from Wal-Mart. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On November 20, 2010, Deputy Martin was at
The Woodlands mall when he was notified by mall security of a Hispanic male following a 14 year female from store to store. Deputy Martin met with the
child and she pointed out a male suspect who had been following her throughout the mall and she had seen him crawling on the floor close to her. Deputy Martin detained and identified the suspect as a
34 year old male from Huntsville. Deputy Martin checked the photos on the man’s cell phone and found a video of the
juvenile taken from the floor angle. The suspect was taken into custody charged with Improper Photography and Video (SJF), and a $60,000 bond was set along with a hold from ICE.
On November 21, 2010, Deputy Aguilar observed two vehicles traveling at a high rate of speed and honking at each other as they were traveling westbound on Research Forest. Deputy Aguilar conducted a
traffic stop on both vehicles. After contacting the District Attorney’s Office, both drivers,
17 year old male and
18 year old male both from
The Woodlands, were
arrested and charged with Racing. They were transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On November 21, 2010, Deputy Nedrow responded to a single vehicle accident in the 5700 block of Research Forest. The driver,
18 year old male from
The Woodlands, stated that he had looked down to dial his phone, hit the curb and over corrected and hit the trees. While talking with the suspect, Deputy Nedrow noticed him to have the odor of an
alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath,
slurred speech, and trouble balancing. After being checked out by EMS and refusing transport, the suspect was taken into custody for Driving Under the Influence – Minor, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
