The Woodlands Police Blotter for 09/16/2010:
District 2:
On September 7, 2010 at approximately 9am, Deputy Christensen was dispatched to 25120 I-45 North in reference to a
Disturbance in Progress. Upon arrival, Deputy Christensen detained the suspect, and then met with the complainant. The complainant stated that the suspect, 33 yr old White Male from
Houston, had grabbed her forcibly by the arm, took her keys and then got in her car and started the ignition. After she realized he was trying to
steal her car she started
screaming for help. The three witnesses, ran over, removed the suspect from her vehicle, and detained him until Deputy Christensen’s arrival. Deputy Christensen contacted the District Attorney’s Office and charges were accepted for Aggravated
Robbery. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On September 8, 2010 at approximately 12:30 p.m., Deputy Sibille was dispatched to an
Assault Family Violence in progress call in the 2400 block of Northline Road. Upon arrival, he met with the complainant who stated that she and her husband had been drinking that day, became
intoxicated and began fighting over what her husband was looking at on the computer. During the argument, her husband began hitting her about her. He
fled the scene when she called the Sheriff’s Office. With the assistance of a Pct. 3 Deputy Constables, the suspect, 50 yr old White Male, was located and was
arrested and charged with
Assault Family Violence. He was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without further incident.
On September 8, 2010, at approximately 3:50 a.m., Deputy Swank observed a vehicle in the area of 150 Valleywood Drive. Deputy Swank ran the license plate and received confirmation that the vehicle was
stolen. Deputy Swank followed the vehicle and initiated a
traffic stop. The driver of the vehicle, White Male 32 yrs old from
Spring, was
arrested for Unlawful Use of a Motor Vehicle and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident. The passengers in the vehicle were released on the scene.
On September 9, 2010 at approximately 2 pm, Deputies were dispatched to 25650 IH 45 for an Aggravated
Assault and Unlawful Restraint. Upon arrival, they learned from the complainant that early that day, he went to the suspect’s apartment and was struck with a bat and bound with duct tape by several males. One suspect pointed a
gun at the victim and threatened to
kill him. The victim freed himself and
fled the apartment and called the authorities. All parties were
arrested for Unlawful Restraint. All suspects were transported to the Montgomery County Jail. Suspect 1, 18 yr old White Male from
Spring Suspect 2 -18 yr old Black Male from
Spring, Suspect 3 – 22 yr old Black Male from
Spring and Suspect 4 – 18 yr old Black Male from
Spring.
District 6:
On September 3, 2010 at approximately 5 pm, Deputy Lawless responded to a location on Roaming Woods Drive. The complainant, stated that the suspect, White Male 45 yrs old from
Spring, came into her backyard, exposed himself and began to
urinate. When she yelled at him to stop and leave, he responded that he would leave, and return with and shoot her, her family and her dog. The suspect was located on
Spring Creek Drive. When Deputy Lawless approached him, the suspect had a strong odor of an
alcoholic beverage on or about his person, coupled with
slurred speech. Deputy Lawless contacted the District Attorney’s office and charges were accepted for Indecent Exposure and Terroristic Threat. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On September 4, 2010 at approximately 3:15 p.m., Deputy Layman was dispatched to the area of Grogans Mill and Millpark in reference to a possible Motor Vehicle Accident. Upon arrival, Deputy Layman learned that the suspect vehicle had been traveling, at a high rate of speed, northbound on Grogan’s Mill,
weaving between vehicles. Witnesses stated that the suspect then lost control of his vehicle, fishtailing before leaving the roadway, traveling across the grass median, spinning completely around and coming to rest in the southbound lanes of Grogan’s Mill. Deputy Layman contacted the District Attorney’s Office and charges were accepted for
Reckless Driving. The suspect, 18 yr old Black Male from
Spring, was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
9/4 – Sr. Sgt. Herring
arrested 41 yr old White Male from
the Woodlands for
DWI in the 2600 block of Woodlands Parkway. Contact was made with this driver after Deputy Underwood conducted a
traffic stop for defective equipment. Breath samples were not provided.
9/4 – Sr. Sgt. Herring
arrested 22 yr old White Male from Montgomery for
DWI after a
traffic stop on IH-45 just north of SH 242. The driver was observed, by Sr. Sgt. Herring, cutting through the median from the highway to the feeder road to avoid emergency vehicle at the scene of an accident. The driver was low to pull over and could not maintain a single lane of travel. Breath Samples were .224 and .224.
9/4 – Sr. Sgt. Herring
arrested 42 yr old White Female from
the Woodlands for
DWI in the 3800 block of Woodlands Parkway. Contact was made with this driver after Deputy Drake conducted a
traffic stop after he observed the vehicle going eastbound in the westbound lanes of Woodlands Parkway. Breath samples were not provided.
9/5 – Deputy Houstoun responded to 1600 Lake Woodlands in reference to a
24 year old White Female, being detained for
shoplifting. The suspect attempted to
steal approximately $60.00 in
merchandise from Ulta. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
9/5 – Sr. Sgt. Herring
arrested 26 yr old White Female from
Conroe for
DWI in the 27500 block of IH-45. The driver was observed, by Sr. Sgt. Herring, as she entered the main lanes of IH-45 and then increased her speed to over 90 mph. While following her, Sr. Sgt. Herring observed her
weaving between lanes prior to her stopping. Breath Samples were .150 and .149.
9/5 – Sr. Sgt. Herring
arrested 30 yr old White male from Pearland for
DWI in the 26000 Block of IH-45. Contact was made with this driver after Deputy Pternitis and Sr. Sgt. Silvio observed the subject strike a curb and blow out a tire on the ring road of
The Woodlands Mall. The driver then left the scene, running a stop sign, and then drove onto IH-45 southbound main lanes. Deputy Pternitis then conducted a
traffic stop. Breath samples were not provided.
On September 6, 2010 at approximately 12:50 am, Deputy Flores was dispatched to provide Traffic Control for an accident at Woodlands Parkway and Kuykendahl. Upon arrival, witnesses stated that the driver was seen leaving the vehicle and running towards the shopping center. Deputy Flores and Deputy Drake located a female matching the description of the driver. Upon speaking with the suspect, her story changed several times as to who was driving, how many people were in the vehicle and who owned the vehicle. At that time, Deputy Flores detained the suspect, 22 yr old White Female from
The Woodlands, for the DPS Trooper to question her. The suspect continued to give conflicting statements to the Trooper. Deputy Flores contacted the District Attorney’s Office and charges were accepted for
False Report to a Peace Officer. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
9/6 – Sr. Sgt. Herring
arrested 28 yr old White Male from
The Woodlands for
DWI in the 3400 block of Willie Way. Contact was made with this driver after Deputy Underwood and Deputy Schmaltz conducted a
traffic stop for failure to stop at a stop sign. The vehicle also matched the description of vehicle involved in a
disturbance in that area. Breath samples were not provided.
