4/3 – Deputy Houston arrested a 17-year-old female from Spring for Shoplifting at 1201 Lake Woodlands. The suspect attempted to take $95.00 worth of jewelry from Macy’s. The suspect was taken into custody charged with Theft, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

4/2 – Deputy Evans arrested a 32-year-old male from Tomball, for Shoplifting at 10001 Woodlands Parkway. The suspect attempted to take $43.45 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart. The suspect was taken into custody charged with Theft, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident. Charges were upgraded to a State Jail Felony due to two prior convictions.

The suspects attempted to take $148.85 worth of clothing from Sears. The suspects were taken into custody charged with Theft, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

3/31 – Deputy Houstoun arrested a 17-year-old female from Spring and a 16-year-old female from Spring, for Shoplifting at 1201 Lake Woodlands. The suspects attempted to take $152.25 worth of clothing from Sears. The suspects were taken into custody charged with Theft, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail and Juvenile Detention Facility without incident.

3/29 – Deputy Armstrong arrested a 35-year-old female and 26-year-old female, both from Houston, for Shoplifting at 3040 College Park Drive. The suspects took $254 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart. The suspects were later apprehended during a traffic stop and the merchandise was recovered. Both suspects were taken into custody charged with Theft, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident. Charges against the 26-year-old suspect were upgraded to a State Jail Felony due to two prior convictions.

3/28 – Deputy Cogdill arrested a 52-year-old male from Magnolia, for Shoplifting at 3040 College Park Drive. The suspect attempted to take $524 worth of groceries and merchandise from Wal-Mart. The suspect was taken into custody charged with Theft, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident. Charges were upgraded to a State Jail Felony due to two prior convictions.

3/24 – Deputy Houstoun arrested a 20-year-old male from Spring, a 25-year-old male and 27- year-old male, both from Houston, for Shoplifting at 1201 Lake Woodlands. The suspects attempted to take $416.27 worth of clothing from Macy’s. The suspects were taken into custody charged with Theft, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

3/19 - Deputy Weatherford arrested two 15-year-old females from Willis for Shoplifting at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. Three suspects attempted to take $664.65 worth of clothing and jewelry from JC Penny’s. When the Loss Prevention Officer attempted to detain the suspects, a parent intervened and began yelling at the loss prevention officer. At one point, the loss prevention officer was punched in the stomach. Two of the suspects left the scene and went to their vehicle. More merchandise from other stores was located in the vehicle. One of the suspects, 16-year-old female from Willis did not return to the scene. The two 15 year old suspects were taken into custody charged with Robbery and Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity, and transported to the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Facility without further incident.

3/18 – Deputy Koonce arrested a 20 year old female from The Woodlands, for Shoplifting at 3040 College Park Drive. The suspect attempted to take $79.34 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart. The female suspect was also charged with Possession of a Dangerous Drug due to her having in her possession a pill bottle with various pills inside including Vicodin, Soma, Xanax, and others without a prescription.

| Jan 22, 2011: |
On January 22, 2011, Deputy Dewey responded to a Burglary of a Building call at 8900 Sterling Ridge Drive. Upon arrival, he met with the complainant, who stated that he received a call from their alarm company that three doors had been opened at the building. Upon his arrival, two men, both 18-years-old from The Woodlands, were seen walking on a path nearby. They identified themselves and told the complainant they were walking by and heard the alarm. Deputy Dewey detained the two men, and conducted a search of the building and surrounding area. A cell phone was found inside the shop, numerous rolls of coins and loose coins were found in the flowerbed with a bank bag and a stack of clothing on hangers. At the conclusion of Deputy Dewey’s investigation, it was found that the cell phone found inside the shop belonged to one of the suspects. Both were taken into custody and charged with Burglary of a Building, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On September 17, 2010, Deputy Pierman was dispatched to a Burglary of a Motor Vehicle call on Rayford Road. The complainant stated that when he got in his vehicle to leave work, he noticed that has GPS and Sirius Satellite were missing. He went next door to the Pawn Shop and found out that the suspect had just tried to pawn one of the items, but ran out when he walked in. The suspect, a 36 yr old White Male from Spring, was seen running northbound near IH-45 and was detained pending a positive identification. After a positive identification was made, the suspect was taken into custody for Burglary of a Motor Vehicle. The suspect was also found to be in possession of 3.2 grams of Marijuana and charges for Possession of Marijuana were added.

On August 31, 2010, Deputy Roberts and Deputy Maldonado were dispatched to 6119 FM 1488 in reference to a 27 year old White Female from Magnolia, being detained for shoplifting. The suspect attempted to steal approximately $114.74 in merchandise from Home Depot. The District Attorney’s Office was contacted and charges for Theft were accepted against the suspect. Due to her having two prior convictions for Theft, the charges were enhanced from a Class B Misdemeanor to a State Jail Felony. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On Aug. 7, a deputy responded to a call in reference to a 13-year-old white female from Conroe and a 15-year-old white female from Conroe being detained for shoplifting. The two suspects attempted to steal approximately $274 in merchandise from Sears. Both suspects were transported to the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Center in Conroe.

On Aug. 4, a deputy responded to 3040 College Park Drive in reference to a 40-year-old black male from Conroe being detained by Wal-Mart staff for shoplifting. The suspect was observed concealing cake decorating products in his pants and then attempting to leave the store without making an attempt to pay for the concealed merchandise. Loss prevention officers recovered six items valued at $120. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. The suspect was also found to have an active warrant and was also booked on those charges.

On July 30, a deputy responded to 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive in reference to a 35-year-old white female from Livingston and a 16-year-old white female from Livingston being detained for shoplifting. The two suspects attempted to steal approximately $127 in merchandise from Macy’s. The older suspect was then transported to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe, and the younger suspect received a citation for theft and was released at the scene.

On July 29 at approximately 6 p.m., a deputy responded to 1025 Sawdust Road in reference to a 20-year-old white male from Spring and a 22-year-old white male from Spring being detained for shoplifting. The two suspects attempted to steal approximately $97.43 in merchandise from Wal-Mart. The younger suspect was charged with Class B misdemeanor theft and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. The other suspect received a citation for theft and was released at the scene.

The older suspect was then transported to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe, and the younger suspect was transported to the Juvenile Detention Center in Conroe.

The two suspects attempted to steal approximately $104 in merchandise from Macy’s. They also were found to have taken approximately $712 in merchandise from Hollister Co. The female was then transported to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe, and the male suspect was transported to the Juvenile Detention Center in Conroe.
