We just got a message warning of some break ins in Panther Creek. Keep your doors locked and please watch out for one another.

The Woodlands is good about keeping us informed about things. I have never had such good communication in any other neighborhood.

There have been many many break-ins at the Alexan Sterling Ridge Apartments in Sterling Ridge too. My girlfriend's apartment was burglarized this year and they got away with tons of jewelry, mostly. If you know anyone moving to the area, stay away from that place! There are many other reasons, not just the crime!

The people who usually burglarize apartment complexes are also residents of the complex. They learn the work and sleep schedules of people, and they know you don't have an alarm system or a dog.

There was a number of burglaries at one complex I lived in while I went to college. It was a boyfriend of one of the residents behind them. I remember he knocked on my door one day. I forgot what he asked me, but he was peeking in to see what I had. Luckily my futon and beanbag chair weren't worth going after.
