Not even close and you all know it. Wait and see what happens if Romney gets elected and is beholding to all his fat cat donors. It will be you and I who suffer....well that is unless his "liberal" side comes out again which I am sure it will..lol
I love your bug MRoss...now can you come get rid of the skeeters in my yard.
I have to agree with you about unions. As a business owner I could not handle labor unions. On the other hand I do not like the fact that our teachers are having their pay cut and that the firefighters and police who should protect me are also looking at massive cuts. You see I can reach across the aisle...unlike the majority of all of our supposed represented leaders.

Why is their pay being cut? Could it be that we can no longer afford the pensions and benefits giving to them? I don't like the fact that teacher, fire and police are being cut either. I also don't like the fact that bad teachers get equal pay or good young teachers get laid off while bad teachers who have seniority get to keep their job. But that is how the unions work.
Well that is how bad unions work. Unions exist as a right and its purpose is good, only that they get corrupted. But the same happens to big companies, they get corrupted.

There is the big answer.
Unions seem to be over stepping their bounds. The same thing companies used to do that brought about unions to start with.
Are pensions offered at your company today?
We are actually seeing a downturn in benefits that unions brought about. So this could be a slippery slope. Unions got way to powerful, and upset the balance of power. Now rich companies are fighting back (and government which stands to be the clear winner).
Why must we settle for the union population paying more instead of us demanding our companies pay the same for us?
It seems extremes either way is bad.
There are very few professions that ask a person to risk his life. I feel policemen and firefighters are very underpaid. They ought to be worth at least the salary of, say, an engineer. It is ridiculous what we pay our first responders.
