It doesn't prove your point at all.

I would not live in a state I found so much fault in. I would move somewhere I liked better.

I personally do not care if you love Texas or not. It's your choice.

I've been here over 50 years and I would not want to leave.

Good for you, please don't move. I enjoy a good laugh. I'm pointing out the outrageous group think among some of the people who make this state the laughing stock of the nation, and indeed, the world. BTW, admitting to errors and imperfections is healthy and wise, while absolutist thinking is not.

Rebel, On what are you basing your assumptions about Texas? Sorry, but you come across as a bit of a jackass.

I think that the behavior noted in the article is mirrored by the behavior of members of this forum. The majority of the people engaged in Counter Jade Helm are Right-Wing conservatives who are suspicious that the government may be testing a procedure that it plans to employ in the future to abrogate their rights, so they are keeping a close eye on the exercise. They appear to be quite rational and reasonable. On the other hand, a few of them (E.g. Those who believe that Blue Bell refrigerated trucks are being used to transport dead bodies and that the U.N. is about to take over the Alamo.) are delusional fanatics.

You didn't click on the link and read the article, did you? Ad hominem attacks are a sure indication of the inability to respond to the actual facts with a logical and coherent argument. It also shows the inability to take constructive feedback as a grownup would. Sorry, name calling is childish.

Oh God No! Please don't let them use Blue Bell trucks for bodies. Then I could never eat Blue Bell again. Emoticon Emoticon lol

Please expand on your ignorance.
During the 8 hour fight in Bengazi was anything done to help the victims? No
Do many in the government want churches to pay taxes? Yes
Do they give federal funds to an organization who kills babies? Yes
Judicial branch changing and passing legislation? Roe V Wade, changing the definition of a word, changing the text of the health control law without legislative approval...Yes
High ranking members of the Muslim Brotherhood...Huma Abedin anyone?
Terrorists on the border? Of course!
Of the thousands of cases the first one I found
There were actually four individuals trying to cross through the Texas border, who were apprehended at two different stations, that do have ties to known terrorist organizations in the Middle East.
-Congressman Jason Chaffetz
So that's confirmed...
I didn't even go into the fact that this administration intentionally allowed drug cartels to buy weapons without the means to track them or that the US government is responsible for the creation of ISIS.

So where is the conspiracy theory? Please show me!!!

[Nebraska's atheist state senator Ernie Chambers] wants churches to pay taxes. (At least, he's the only person "in government" that I could find who does.)

[The ATF] allowed [suspected illegal gun traffickers] to buy weapons without the means to track them [once they left the United States.]
----------------------------
After substantial redaction, these are the ONLY statements in your post that are true. The rest are absolutely false or are alarmist nonsense. (E.g. Four individuals with alleged & unspecified "ties" to known terrorist organizations in the Middle East were apprehended - - - out of a total of 466,000 total attempted illegal entrants in 351 days who were stopped at the border. Quick - - - alert the Pentagon!)

Parenthetically, I don't think that any church should receive tax-exempt status for assets or income dedicated to any activity for which it would no otherwise qualify for this exception were it NOT a church.

Changing the syntax of your penultimate post makes it no less delusional, ignorant or fanatical.

Humm, similar to Katrina?

Love the fetus, hate the infant.

Bush v Gore, anyone?

Fiction!

So are Santa Claus sightings, no other than by NORAD.

Did you mean negotiating with terrorist and exchanging arms for hostages? Hint, think Reagan.

I have had people, friends and relatives, in other states ask me how I can live I a state that has more crazy politics than anywhere in the nation. My answer consists of the fact I don't surround myself with those I feel are out of the realm of reason. Not all people on the right are extreme. I have many friends of the Republican persuasion. However, they are not off the rails like the people making the loudest noises on the right. There are crazy conspiracy theories going around. Without anything to back them up, some people soak them right up as if they are Gospel. However, I do meet a lot of people whom I may somewhat disagree with, but are good conversationalists and not nuts. There are fringe people on the left I disagree with. Their numbers are just not as great.

There are more than the fair share of nuts on both sides. You just find more to agree with on the liberal side, just as I do on the conservative side.

I have to admit I am agreeing less and less with either side.

The "both sides do it" copout. If you have examples of the left that are as nearly as mean, racist and xenophobic as the right seems to produce, please name them. When a maniac like Mr. Trump is the leading candidate for president for the GOP, sane people should at least ask themselves, do I want to belong in that group?

rebel, we know you are a lib! Everything you post is like the lib talking points.

I can assure you I am sane, or at least partially.

No, I am not going to look up the nutjobs on the lib side, but I can assure they have no shortage and neither do the conservatives.

I'm sure you're a sane person, what I don't have clear if your ideology is actually align with the far out leaders of your party?
I'll welcome your post naming the mean, racist, xenophobic on the "lib" side.

My favorite nut job on the Lib side is Al Sharpton, a regular visitor to the White House.
