The Whitehouse.gov. for fact checking? Do you really think that the info on that site is factual? People on the Presidents staff are the main correspondents.

Here is one of them:

Daniel Pfeiffer is Assistant to the President of the United States and the White House Communications Director. He was previously a member of Obama's presidential transition team. In 2000, he was a spokesperson for Vice President Al Gore.

If he ever write anything negative about the current administration how long would this guy remain on the staff?

I don't know what you mean with this statement. All I know, if you want information, it is best to go to the horse's mouth than the talking heads on TV or columnists.

Basically he's saying that the Whitehouse is going to give you biased information because they will never say anything bad about the President, so really how can you trust that source?

I understand where you are coming from. But, can you trust people's biased opinions on TV? I have heard what I know to be outright lies from these people. It takes several sources to try to get to the truth about things. And, not to go to the Whitehouse for information about the Whitehouse is silly, in my opinion. That is the best source of policy. I did it with GWB.
