we just moved here after graduating my police academy. We have noticed very aggressive driving patterns. Is that generally from people who live outside of the entire Woodlands community? I hope they catch him. We researched this area for the last year or so and wanted to specifically move here in order to not be around idiots like this. We thought the entire woodlands was 100% gated off to the outside world. Maybe it should be after outsiders behave like this.

once I start patrolling I will gladly look for this type of behavior to protect the Woodlands residents. This is uncalled for.
As the area grows the driving gets more aggressive. I think the more people feel that they can hide behind their blacked out windows, the bolder they get.
I also feel the "losers" of the world can get behind the wheel and feel a little power they other wise don't have. Lots of angry folks use driving to vent.
Some think that they are more important than the rest of us.
Some drivers here are horrible!! They don't know how to use a blinker, or a cross over. Those who can't use a cross over sure jam it up. People are also in too much of a hurry.
Get away from what exactly? To speed up and end up doing it again to another driver who drives the speed limit or under safely? So at that point, you risk causing an accident because you are angry? You are making it appear that the drivers who obey the laws are at fault. Really, what is the rush when everything is within 15 minutes? After all, that is one of the reasons we moved here.
I also wonder about the driving habits of some people. I try very hard to stay in the speed limit, not to go the speed that traffic is going. I have people on my bumper, cutting me off, etc. If they hit me, i believe they would be at fault, but my ins would go up too.

HaHa obviously you don't know me very well yet nor will you ever pull me over unless its a forgotten sticker. I drive the speed limit and I obey the rules. See you automatically think that I would drive this way when I'm angry? Nope see you still don't know me. It's called being very cautious in my driving. I watch out for others because they aren't watching out for me. I carry double the minimum of Texas requirements up to 100K...I don't want to hit anyone but if they get stupid in their expensive car....I've got the insurance to cover their rear ends. I'm a saint when it comes to driving except for my horn which definitely comes on when someone doesnt know how to turn their signal on. Good luck in working within the Woodlands bubble....(I think it burst a few years back when the economy blew.)
kind of hard to believe you drive the speed limit when you have to pass the ones who are driving the speed limit, isn't it? Therefore, that isn't quite obeying the rules.
What is the rush when everything is within 15 minutes? Plan your day accordingly and you don't have to tailgate. Have you not learned that yet still being on your daddy's insurance?
What do you mean by "stupid" expensive cars? Sounds like a touch of class envy to me. With that said, apparently you have been in the woodlands a little too long for you to enjoy it anymore?
No reason to know you personally. I know enough just by your kind words. You are coming off as a potential threat to people who think like the original poster who's wife was hit. At the same time, you try to justify your actions.
My wife and I will gladly drive our children as safely as possible, leaving the home with enough time to enjoy our day. You should do the same for the safety of other families who enjoy living here. Good day.
