this is my warning. do not sign up to this site. it's riddled with scammers. I've received many bogus text messages. spam on my phone after signing up. all i wanted to do was find a new job. instead all i got was garbage. this is not a joke. i will be deleting my account after this message. anyone with an existing account don't trust anyone.

If you post your cell phone number publicly on the web (e.g., TheWoodlandsTX.com), people can text you...there's nothing I can do to prevent people from texting your cell phone if it's published publicly.

I'd suggest not posting your telephone number if you're having a problem with getting texts from scammers.

The auto classifieds are loaded with scams as well.

If you receive a text from a scammer, text them the number to the Montgomery County Sheriffs department, Homeland Security or Consumer Affairs and tell them to call you at home. Or text them back and tell them you are with ATF or something and to take your number out of their system.
