Do these figures include veterans' benefits, survivors' benefits, student loans, etc?
This makes it look like there are 100 million vunnables. If you also look, it says everyone in the household is included if just one person gets benefits. So even if aid to college students and veterans isn't included, this means if you have a family of five and one child has something like cerebral palsy or Down's syndrome and there's a benefit given to that child, the whole family of five is counted. Even if that 'child' is now 40, lives at home at collects SSI, the parents are still going to be counted.
