Exactly Sillystring. I don't remember Laura Bush needing 30 plus aides for just herself on a vacation to Europe. We are in such an economic crisis and they take lavish expensive vacations. I'd be fine with them vacationing in Chicago!

I see nothing wrong with that. GWB was frequently on vacation in Texas. I doubt security costs any less in Texas.

It is one thing to be against an issue. But for crying out loud, your total inability to think through both sides of an issue to find middle ground is the root of the problems with today's "my answer is the only way" thinking!

Exactly!! And people today want to know what is wrong with today’s youth. If we as parents do not show our respect to the leaders of our country or to our boss or other people in authority then our children will learn that respect is not important.
Your children watch EVERYTHING you do and say and YOU have the most influence on who they will be as an adult.
