Moving to Creekside soon. Where does everyone do most of their shopping? I am planning on going to Super Wal Mart to do the initial food and supplies run but after that....

I am spoiled having shopped for food at Wegmans for 4 years. It's an unbelievable grocery store. Just wonderful. Not sure what will replace it.

How about other good spots for general shopping? I know there's the mall and the village centers. Any good gems? Anyone know what exactly is coming to the new Creekside village cente

Thanks!

I do most of my grocery shopping at HEB, I refuse to buy meat from Walmart after the time I was looking at some beef and it was GREEN. Now that was years ago but I still can't buy meat there.

I live in Creekside-Timarron, we still have no idea what will be in the Creekside shopping center.

Just my opinion but nothing here will come close to Wegmans and Publix, the best bet would be HEB.

The one thing that makes that ranking suspect is that they have Trader Joe's ranked #2. The one in The Woodlands does not have much to offer like a good bakery, produce department and the meat department is bad.

It's possible that Trader Joe's is more upscale on the west coast but this one leaves a lot to be desired. It was a first and last for us.

Creekside has several choices of grocery stores. Randalls, at Gosling and woodlands parkway. They are my least favorite.

Kirk-in-dahl and woodlands parkway has a HEB and a Kroger. HEB is a very nice store, lots of new things, specialty items and BIG. Kroger is good too.

I have never been to a Wegmans.

Lol, thanks for the pronunciation guide. People are impressed I have already added the phantom R....

Wegmans is based out of Rochester NY and is family owned. The furthest south they are is VA. It's an amazing store. Modest prices, selection galore, etc. Like a normal grocery store, a Whole Foods and a restaurant rolled into one. I will miss it.

Will try the HEB and see how that works out!

I used to live in Ithaca, NY and completely understand what you mean about Wegman's. Hands down best grocery store ever. The Ithaca one was great.

HEB is good for around here, but it is not Wegman's. The one in Ithaca had a restaurant type area with fresh made subs, a pasta/stir fry station, great Chinese food. It was the best. They had wonderful produce too. All the farm apples in the fall. I guess they keep their quality up by not expanding all over, but I certainly wish they would come down here.

Ah, this is making me sad.

HEB is the best for fresh fruits and vegetables. But, Kroger runs a close second overall. This is my opinion, only.

I agree. Hubble and Hudson is a pricey store, but, has really great meat and other neat items.
