We have 3 small dogs and would like someone who is a college person who comes and goes, but, will stay the night with the dogs. We had a person who did that for $30 a night.
She worked part time and had a job online for the rest of the day, so it worked out perfectly. The dogs are used to sleeping on the bed. They have a doggie door, so, no need to walk them, just go outside and make sure they potty. They are demand fed, so, the bowl just needs filling and the water bowl filled.
Does anyone know of someone? We are thinking of mid June for 4 nights to take granddaughters on a cruise out of Galveston.
Hmm, I'm no help because I don't know anyone who could do this, but a cruise out of Galveston with your granddaughters sounds like fun! I know there are a lot of pet sitting services which are bonded/insured, but they probably cost more than $30/night.
There was a bow wow camp around here somewhere. Im sure they could take care of your dog for you. You could also google houston dog expo or woodlands pet expo and fond older webpages with information on them. I wouldnt send my dog to anyone i didnt trust...good luck and have fun on your trip!
We found a place to board them on 2978 called Texas Dog House. The couple who own it are really nice and seem like dog lovers. They have two labs and a rescue St Bernard that is adorable. I guess leaving them home is best for them, but, these people seem very caring, unlike an experience we had with Petsmart. We had concrete trained dogs when we got back after they stayed there. Even having them in a suite, they were very unhappy. I guess 5 nights won't be that long. We did book the cruise for only 4 nights....just to Cozumel. I think it will be a great experience for the girls as they are 9 and 11. Thank you for your suggestions.
Critterwatch of The Woodlands. Excellent. Trustworthy. Awesome. Took perfect care of our animals for 8days.
We did run into them, accidently, and we hired them to stay the night with our dogs and to come by once during the day. It was not any more than boarding. I recomment them. Thank you for suggesting that.
