The Republicans are doing this to Holder because he would not let Florida purge their voter rolls........they started this 18 m0nths ago.......Pelosi should pay attention.

I don't know what happened with "fast and furious". I don't know how the guns got in the wrong hands and the Border Patrol Agent was killed.
What I would love to see, if something truly went wrong with "fast and furious"......would be for Holder to tell the truth.........accept responsibility for whatever went wrong...........say..look, some of these programs work, some don't and this one didn't. I'm sorry we lost a border agent in the mess. We didn't plan it this way. okay.......just accept responsibility, quit lying and man up!

I know invoking George W Bush's name now is a sure fire way to annoy Republicans but I think in this case there is a valid parallel.
I think we all wanted to know the truth about what happened to Pat Tillman when he was killed. So what did George W Bush do when the House Oversight Committee was looking into the matter? He invoked Executive Privilege to avoid releasing paperwork.
Did everyone who is calling for Holder to 'come clean' about this situation make the same demands of Bush at the time?

My point was personal accountability which we get none of in Washington.
I think Bush had a better reason for exec privilege and obama condemned him for it.
Still, my point was, owning up to whatever happened. Instead of trying to cover up or relate it to Deliverance to make it look better..........just tell the dang truth and leave out the BS. Why is truth so foreign to politicians?
This is a witch hunt with no merit. If they want to continue this action with Holder, they ought to be bringing in the people who were responsible for starting the program and go up forward from there to testify. Then, the whole story comes out.

I think they have something to hide. I think most of the time, the government has something to hide. If we knew the details of just half of what they do, we would hold them all in contempt.
They don't provide me with that information. Evidently they think the papers are significant. If you have nothing to hide, give them the papers and you will no longer be in contempt. If it is a witch hunt with no merit, the Republicans invertigating will look like fools when it is all said and done. If it is an investigation with merit, that will come out also.
No, you don't get it if you think she is worthy of her responsibilities. She is nothing but a puppet and an idiot! I voted for Clinton and am not a Republican I consider myself an independent. There are several Democrats worthy of their positions but not Nancy Pelosi!
At least, you will admit you have voted Democratic. Most "independents" have not ever voted for a Democrat in their life. The last doctor I went to was going off on Medicare and said he was independent. I asked when he voted Democratically and his proud response was, NEVER.
