I am sick of the right winged pundits trying to devalue the accomplishment of killing Bin Ladin by our President.
If the way Obama got him was used in the first place, we would not be in the financial ruin and have lost all those precious lives and limbs of our soldiers and the people of Iraq and Afghanastan.
Many people, before Bush sent in the troops, said we ought to use intelligence and law enforcement type of people to get him.
The President did an unbelievable thing in sending our special forces into that compound. Now, the right is trying to say it is being "politicized". It is an accomplishment that ought to be touted. I can't believe anyone would find fault with that, of all things.
Some will say he followed Bush's intel. Bush didn't know where the heck he was and said so and said he didn't care. He never knew that Bin Laden was in Pakistan. They still thought he was in a cave in the mountains between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Whatever, I am proud of our President for finalizing this issue. He got him as he promised in his campaign and the right can try to diminish it, but, it is still one of the greatest things accomplished in history.
The "no brainer" comment was the thing that started it. I don't care who the president was that had to make that decision, it was not easy.....Obama make it. And, to diminish it is just plain ignorant. The Fox spin machine will make anything look like nothing, or something if it is against the President.
I do think there were things that are blown out of proportion. For instannce, I think they ought to let the Romney's dog thing go...that is on the liberal side. But, to think that the President did something everyday-ish to get Bin Laden is just plain not the truth.
