Doesn't surprise me. When you can't win the right way, spread rumors and doubts. Then see if you can win that way.
The past is the past guys, why are you bringing it up when we are talking about this presidential campaign? Again when you can't win, you divert attention and don't talk about the topic.

I'm happy to talk about the present - I was just commenting on the short memory of the author because when someone makes statements like that you question their motives...
These are the two direct quotes from the article regarding Romney:
“dishonest.”
“[the] question is really one of character and whether or not a candidacy that’s so fundamentally rooted in hiding the truth and the facts from the American people and deception is the basis of trust on which you assign the presidency to a person.”
You guys are a lot more sensitive than I thought if that represents "Chicago Style Politics" or "the gloves are off".

It's funny they should say Romney is secretive......obama is nothing but secretive. No one really knows anything about him.
You must not watch him when he is speaking on TV or read what he stands for on his website.
I watched the whole debate...Obama spent more time criticizing Romney about not having a plan, then actually telling us what his own plans were. He dodged the question every time. He had the last 4 years to use his plan...it didn't work, so now time to move on!
He knew going into office that he only had 4 years to fix the problem....it's not like he went to work one day and is all of a sudden fired for not performing 4 years later!
If Obama was sincere about working for the people who elected him, he wouldn't be spending so much time on the VIEW, Letterman, and other media looking for votes.
If he had any plan, he would be working on it now instead of spending all his time telling us how bad Romney is.
He's in trouble and it's showing. He got his butt kicked and all he can do is whine about what Romney said during the debate. He had his chance and stood there looking like he couldn't wait to get out of there.
The next debate will be a bigger problem for him. His foreign policy record is a total disaster. Bin Laden,,,,,, big deal. It showed the greatness of our military.
He talked to a group the very next day after the debate, loudly, joking and criticizing stuff Romney said during the debate. Where was all that during the debate? He had little of substance to say in the debate, and much of what he said almost seemed made up, like his comment about tax breaks given to companies that relocate overseas...huh?
And, Romney was actually respectful of him, just stated his case that's it.
