I will never go there again, LIARS!!! after calling to see if they could fit me in, they said to come in an hr. I called after an hour and they said yes come now. This was a john guy with those gross rings in his ears. I explained over the phone that I had to leave an get my kids at 3 and he said yes they would get me in. So I showed up at 130. 20 minutes to three I started to pay attention and thought my car had been pulled up front, NO, it had not even moved the whole time, so I watched them pull it around in front of the bay, they never removed my tire. Then at three, the John guy said , Youre all set, theyre pulling it up for you. I said perplexed, You fixed the leaking plug? (They plugged it before) He knew I was on to him and said we didnt have time. So he let me sit there that whole time (2 +hrs) after I had an appt. Then he called me a liar and the dealer a liar. You see I had been back and forth to the dealer/NTB thinking I had a bad tire sensor. They tried to pass it off as fixed. What if I woke up with it completely flat or was stranded? This was not the 1st time I waited a very long time, which is why I made an appt. I hope he gets fired!
For years I use Discount Tires. They are awesome at repairing tire leak issues for you. I use Midas on Sawdust for allignment, brakes, oil change, and that's all so far. I've been with them for years. They are always busy though - and that's probably the reason!
For general stuff on our cars, we use Woodlands Shell on Kuykendahl and Woodlands Pkwy. Ned also owns the Shell in the Panther Creek shopping center....the one with the bays. He is very good and honest.
one thing I noticed dealing with some of the mechanics
(i mentioned above) is we get something worked on for one vehicle, they do a good job then something else on another day, another vehicle and the price seems to get outrageous and the repairs are questionable. May be a matter of skill or dishonesty but I got a feeling it was a combination of issues.
We have had horrible experiences at both of the Shell's for mechanical needs. The last time we needed something done we went to D&K Transmissions on 242, we have used them for years and they are always reasonable and guarantee their work.

I am surprised to hear that as we have had good luck with them. But, I know with cars, even the dealerships can be difficult at times.
