from 2 pitbulls at our apartment complex...

He looks like a bulldog from what my neighbors said;I'm not good with breed of dogs..

He is so sweet, well behaved, house trained, sweetheart(he keeps giving me kisses and sits by my feet)..

I am in love with this dog lol he's such a good dog and I know someones missing him tonight so I'll look for his owner(s)tomorrow..

So you are admittedly not good with breeds but the offending dogs were definately pit bulls?

I'm glad you broke up a dog fight, but aren't you jumping to conclusions?

Not conclusions;the pitbulls were on him and biting on him,and he was howling and whining so I know he was being hurt..

Its not hard to know what pitbulls look like..

I am so glad that you rescued the dog. It sounds like he is a loved pet. Someone will be missing him.
I have to agree with Duc on this one though. You may have jumped to a conclusion about the dogs being pit bulls. There are several breeds that are mistaken for pits. A while ago Jamie posted a link to a site that showed many of the breeds of bully dogs and you had to pick out which one was a pit. Not as easy as one would think.

Actually, it is. When people report or even casually point out dogs, they are frequently mistaken. My dad constantly misidentifies pits.

GREAT JOB HALEYSMOMMY!!! Doesn't matter what kind of dogs you rescued it from as long as you rescued it!!!

Come on people no need for the lectures everytime someone says a pitbull... All that matters is one less dog is in trouble because of HaleysMommy!!!

I hope you either find the dogs owner or welcome a new addition to your family!

I know its a pitbull bc the people across the street own them and they are trained to (in the words of the owner)"kick other dogs ass"..I dont agree with it at all and I decided to save this sweet dog bc it wasnt doing anything but walking around and these 2 dogs decided to jump on him..(Kinda like their kids, they're bullies)
I'm not jumping to any conclusions bc I know the dogs.

Good for you to help out this poor pup, HM! I hope the owner comes forward because I know they miss him...but I know he will have a good home with you, too.

I think HM was saying she wasn't sure of the breed of the dog she rescued but she was sure it was pitbulls that attacked it.

Good for you. And report the 2 that were attacking him to the apartment complex. I know pits get a bad name sometimes for nothing but whether they are pits or not is irrelevant in this case. They don't need to be there around other dogs and kids..

We did report them and they were removed from the complex..
The dog we had at our home, got a full belly, water and a warm place to sleep for the night..
As soon as we took him out,his owner was out and so he got to go home;not before giving me kisses thanking us..

He was such a sweetheart but I am happy that he has his owner now..

Thanks to those who were supportive;I'd do it again if it helps an animal(hard part is when it leaves )
