After the post last week from the Community Impact Newspaper article, I've been trying to find more information about the details of the possible 2014 Woodlands incorporation vote. As part of the agreement to become a township The Woodlands will never be annexed by the City of Houston. As part of the agreement is that the Township pays X amount of money each year to the City of Houston.
We are currently a township now what the residence will be voting on is to incorporate into a city. Regardless if The Woodlands remains a township or incorporates it cannot be annexed by the City of Houston or The City of Conroe.
