No, it is the moral compass of politicians, left and right.

You have to skip the talking points and search through the garbage for the little rays of truth.

But most, on the right in particular, don't care about truth.

We need Romney to make up a bunch of lies about what he going to do when he's President.

Obama made up a bunch of lies,,,, ALL candidates make things up.

What's Obama going to do? He can't even say. 4 more years of bad policy, and he will still blame anyone but himself.

He's a blamer and a complainer. We need someone who is looking forward, not someone with a slogan about moving forward .

I'll be disappointed should he happen to lose, but I have faith in americans.

I'm confident Romney will win big. People have common sense and will realize that someone with NO plan, who blames everything on something or someone else, who thinks this is the worst economic tragedy in the history of man, is nothing more than someone who is in over their head, without any plan.

He has to have a slogan of "looking forward" because if anyone with common sense looked back at his record, he wouldn't get re-elected!

If the election were held today, Obama would win.

I disagree! No one can accurately say which candidate would win.

You are dead wrong in saying most on the right don't care about truth.

I don't believe a candidate running for the highest office in the land ought to be lying to get in. Plus, the "Christian" right ought to be outraged at this. That is what baffles me. Let's say it were true that the "other side" does the same thing. Wouldn't you want your guy to be above the rest of them? It sickens me that elections can be bought by a few billionaires and based on a pack of lies.

no one was complaining last election when obama had the most money.

This election is not being bought. The lies, or as they call it, spin, comes equally from both sides. Most people are sick of it from both sides. Until we all take a stand (left and right), this is what we are going to get. They do it because we allow it.

Obama must be taking lessons form Jimmy Carter. Remember the Iran thing, they tried to install a new government and look what kind of government they have over there now.

The fact is this administration owns this mess, there is no way in hell he can blame Bush for this so the only thing to do is to lie and get the lamestream media behind him. This had nothing to do with a stupid movie, it was planned right on time with the anniversary of 9/11 but liberals will never admit Obama made a mistake in Libya or Egypt.

This clown needs to stop apologizing for America, I never hear the muslims apologizing for anything they do. Even the so called peaceful muslims don't denounce what is going on.

We need to quit worrying about why and whether or not Muslims hate us. They hate us. We are the focus for their anger about everything and anything that they don't like about their life and the world in general. We've tried for decades to be the peacemakers in the world, fight for human rights, democracy, morality. Actually we've tried to give much of the rest of the world what we have here...freedom, independence, prosperity. We're hated for that.

Watching all the 9/11 stuff on TV is depressing. Makes me feel like well, its us against them. If that's what it is so be it. Let's stand fast, keep our money, get rid of the apologist, and protect ourselves from them. If that means war with Iran, its war with Iran.

I wish we'd take every American serviceman, tank, gun, humvee, food stash, money stash...that's in Afghanistan and bring it all back home. So we lose the "war"...who cares. Let's get back our national pride and dignity and quit being everyone's door mat and target.
Let them have their desert homeland to do with as they see fit. Maybe they'll like us more for that.

Last election the vast majority of money came from the people. There were no super pacs.

But Republicans just go with the justification "both sides do it:. That is not justification for me. Obama has not lied about what he was going to do.......he has done much of what he declared and the rest has been stopped by Congress. Spin is different from an outright lie.

sstonetx, Obama supporteres continue to say that he has done what he said he would and that he has tried to do the rest, but that congress has stopped him. Do you not see that when Presidents with leadership have gotten things done in the past, they have come to the middle and worked with both sides, rather than try and ask for so much that they know it won't pass, then afterwards blame the other side for not working.
Once this happens the Republicans blame the democrats and we have a huge stand off between both parties. Then nothing gets done. That is not true leadership. It is a position of give and take. That is why many conservatives and independants think he has not done what he has promised.
When he said he offered hope and change, it seemed to me that he wanted to bridge the gap that was the hate between the parties, along with everything else he said he would do. Yet, the parties are at each others throats even more so now. And he has done nothing to prevent it, he has even encouraged it with his class warfare. We don't need to pit against each other, we need to become united!
I am not saying Romney is the savior like so many thought Obama was, but in my opinion, which is all it is, I think we need to have someone else in the office to see what they can do. Obama has failed in too many areas and has not tried to move to the middle, which is what this country needs right now. JMHO
